Incarcerating the Innocent in America

They need to engage in a criminal investigation of this...Governor to see what kinds of criminal acts he may be involved him.

If anything is found, throw the book at him.
Parson made it through high school, was an MP in the army, and after discharge, returned to Missouri to work as a sheriff's deputy. He became the Sheriff of Polk County in 1993, served until 2004, and ran successfully for Lt. Governor. His ticket mate was indicted, forced to resign, and sha'zaam!

He is already under investigation over the multiple lawsuits of awarding MJ grow operations and dispensaries and have cost the state many millions that were slated for veteran causes...
Good! Now it's just for them to prove his criminality and throw the book at his criminal ass.
The head of the Dept of health just left because he is under investigation also....As far a pardon in Mizzouri you'd better be white if you want a break, yeah, it's that kind of state and I though Arkansass and Texass along with Okiehoma were primitive law enforcement states with a racist motive when I lived in them, but Missouri really sucks...

Sounds like a bunch of people wanting the governor to quick fix their mistakes. Undoing a conviction and releasing a person is a process and should be followed. Throwing around pardons willy-nilly is not a viable solution until all the evidence and information has been examined by the governor's office.
It already has been examined by the governor, what makes you think it has not since the governor has already made a statement from the information examined in his office.
So what would a pardon actually do? Shouldn't the conviction be properly vacated? Shouldn't the system work as intended, especially when the system itself created the problem? It's the immature need for immediate gratification that is the problem here, not the governor's office.
How many decades would you wait in prison to be exonerated after the fact?

I have no idea why you keep on stating that a pardon was used in the OP, it was not:

Republican Missouri Gov. Mike Parson says addressing the clemency petition for Kevin Strickland is not a “priority,”

Then you really should be pushing those responsible to do their job, instead of whining about the governor having to fix it for them.

I have petitioned my governor in the state of Mizzouri where I reside, what do you want me to do, break him out of prison? The governor is the person who signs the order of clemency who the fuck else would we petition?

As you appear to already know, a pardon is inappropriate in a claim of legal and factual innocence. Why are these lawyers so ignorant of basic jurisprudence?

Ah yes. But when Clinton pardoned Marc Rich after fleeing the US to avoid prosecution, no outrage there.

You are a fraud. I see right through you.

Missouri governor: Pardon of 4-decade inmate not a priority

Republican Missouri Gov. Mike Parson says addressing the clemency petition for Kevin Strickland is not a “priority,” even though prosecutors say Strickland didn't commit the triple murder that put him behind bars more than four decades ago...
Several state lawmakers from both sides of the aisle signed a letter seeking a pardon for Strickland...
Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker has called for his release.
Federal prosecutors in the Western District of Missouri, Jackson County’s presiding judge, Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas and members of the team that convicted Strickland also have said he deserves to be exonerated.
"What if we just let out all the innocent folks!
Them bastards'll sue yuh!"
If you can prove that the governor was part of the January 6th gang, he will be in jail by tomorrow.

Otherwise, sorry bout your luck chuck

No one cares

Mr. Strickland really hasn't proven his innocence in the matter at bar.

The fact that others involved in the case say he wasn't involved too, doesn't mean he's innocent.

When 12 angry men deliver their verdict, you should be absolutely certain that they are wrong before you call them "racist pieces of shit" for convicting a innocent black boy.

Never heard of Parson beyond the Parson's Project, cool little band. I've heard of Biden though, you?

Should we throw a twist or two suggesting Xiden matured & progressed?

YES! Lets just start investigating people because they dont do things you agree with.
Idiot.
Exactly... Otherwise what he really wants to do is open up an investigation with the use of the Democrat playbook. Very evil playbook.

Digging/investigating with the use of other people's money for political reasons, and worse through nefarious government abuses of power, uhhh should be recognized and squashed for what it is (hypocritical bullcrap).

When is America going to finally get enough of the bullcrap ??

Justice????? after the summer of love...spying on a president by a former president....impeaching over a lie twice.....open borders breaking our laws....and you dare talk about justice????fuck off....

After your litany of bullshit and lies, it's clear you have no concept of truth or justice. If Obama spied on Trump, why didn't Barr or Durham file charges against ANYONE for that spying? Get back to me when you have actual EVIDENCE that Obama spied on Trump.

Trump was impeached because be was and continues to be a clear and present danger to the nation, as more and more evidence of his crimes continues to come to light.

The border isn't open, and you're not very bright if you truly believe a single thing you posted.

Wrong.

It’s yet another example of the right’s contempt for justice and the rule of law.

Innocent people? I thought you were talking about the mom and pop trespassers being relentlessly pursued by the FBI. Somethin ain't right about this case though. An innocent man doesn't get a pardon but a guilty man does if he served enough time.
