Unless your head is buried in the sand, those running the internet (Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Youtube, etc.) are partisan and weed out conservative views. I know first hand, because Yahoo censors conservative view points. We receive most of our info. from the internet, and they're exercising thought control.

The internet and media are primarily responsible for building the snowflake. From games to Emojis to propaganda, it's taught us how to be soft, how to be a victim, and how to practice intellectual dishonesty.

Your thoughts?

I agree. The examples are everywhere. Facebook is a huge offender in the attempts to silence voices on the right and anyone who denies this either dishonest, blind or stupid. Same with those who deny the msm is predominately left wing and biased in favor of the left.
They are fine with it because it silences conservatives, just refuse to bake the left a cake and watch the outrage commence!

Man, it is amazing how the Naked Emperor can blast some stupid conspiracy shit on Twitter, and then the Rube Herd immediately begins parroting him without engaging in a single moment of critical thinking.

Pathetic.

OK will to immediately quell you totally subjective, personalized, hyperbolic and above all else DUMB f...k statement!
You are truly showing your lack of comprehension in the first place.
The issue of BIAS came to Trump first by the conservatives that have proven like the below...
The Media Research Center has undertaken an extensive study of the problem at major tech companies — Twitter, Facebook, Google and YouTube — and the results are far more troubling than most conservatives realize. Here are some of the key findings:
CENSORED! How Online Media Companies Are Suppressing Conservative Speech

Now who is the largest of the below 17 CDNs????
Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) will carry 71 percent of Internet traffic by 2021.
Seventy-one percent of all Internet traffic will cross CDNs by 2021 globally, up from 52 percent in 2016.

I think the Internet confuses you. Those companies do not run the internet, they are merely windows to the internet.

Okay, let's change it to "windows into the internet".

If you do not like what those windows are showing you go to a different one or make your own window.

Can you teach me how to build a search engine?

Of course he can't, he's just being an obtuse, left-slanted Devil's Advocate.

What you're talking about is a serious problem where Google is concerned, as they do own and run large servers that are integral to the

internet as it is known these days.

Have to love morons wanting the government to take over the Internet calling someone else left slanted.

Dem politicians are stupid, naturally their half baked socialist ideas fail. Then when the Dem masses complain about how crappy things are under Dem rule, the Dem politicians deflect the blame for their failures onto the 'rich', corporations, and whitey.

Look up ARPANET and DARPA on your little iOS piece of crap with an ARM processor device there, then read this article. One of the reasons I know these things is because I've been around for a long time.

"The concept for the Internet, also called the World Wide Web, was developed in the early 1970s by the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA. The agency launched a research campaign to find effective ways to link computers to facilitate the exchange of information."

Why Was the Internet Created?

I don't like that short reference, hey! I have post-internet-creation Encyclopedias!

What we call conservative views as well as liberal views encompass the extremes of the two.

There are 3 separate areas of concern, content, advertising, and searches. Censoring is possible in all three. However, the issue is extremely complex because the Internet knows no national nor regional boundaries, yet there is rising concerns about what should be censored if anything throughout the world.

In the 20th century, the Internet was open and lacked any censorship. Today that's still exists as far as the backbone is concerned but when it comes to the web sites and content providers, it all depend on the provider.

I don't think there is any way to control content across the internet and still maintain the open access which makes it so useful.

Since the earliest days of media, newspapers, magazines, TV and radio, outlets have have employed censoring. For the most part, these media outlets are private investor owned businesses and have near complete freedom of what they put on the air, network, or written page. If you don't like it you can go elsewhere. If you provide content for them, you are agreeing to their terms and conditions which contain clauses allowing them to censor.

When the Access Hollywood tape was released. media outlets handled it differently based on their own policies. Some would not show the tape at all but summarized content. Other, censored some the more vial language from our now president, and others showed the full content. This is exactly how the media should behave, each company making it's own 1st amendment decisions as to content.

In this century, the major difference is the restrictions providers such as Facebook put on their users. There is nothing illegal about that. It is there decision as to what they will allow on their site. I don't see anything wrong with that either as long as their users are aware that they control content.

What the public considers the Internet today and what the government created or should I say funded, has about as much similarity as a paper airplane and a jetliner.

The internet back then was a handful of military and university installations. Security, like today was left to hosts connecting to the net. It was purposefully designed so there would be no central control so if the commies attacked they couldn't take out the net. Almost all networks at that time were centrally controlled by a supervisor entity with users only able to perform specific assigned functions. About the only thing that remains of ARPANET today is the TCP/IP protocol which constitute the rules for data exchange on the Internet.
