Rioting was going on in neighboring Egypt over the video.......so, the FIRST assumption was a logical one that the same thing was happening in Benghazi.
I repeat again with apologies to the Stevens family.....With such reports of rioting coming from Egypt, Stevens should NOT have gone into Benghazi...leaving (or quickly returning to) the relative safety of the embassy in Tripoli.

It isn't like that rioters show their membership cards before rioting......So what did we have as far as info during those terrible hours:

1.Groups of angry Muslim in Egypt were rioting because of the video.

2. A group of rioters (al-Qaeda-like or otherwise) rioted in Benghazi

3. The conclusion drawn, at first, is that the group in Benghazi was ALSO rioting over the video.

The term"terrorism" that YOU use was only later confirmed by the administration....The stimuli for rioting and killing makes little difference, whether it is over a video or simply because they're bastards out for blood.
