Frankly, Jake was the guy standing up for Romney in the Primaries in 2011 and 2012 when a lot of you Wingnuts were brought along kicking and screaming by the Establishment.

I think he's fighting a lost cause, though. Sensible Republicans aren't going to get control of the party back until the extremists burn themselves out. That isn't going to happen in 2014.

The far right views of TK, EC, and the rest are obvious. They put $$$ in front of people. That is not the Republicanism of the good people of the center and the right. You can howl at the moon all you want, and the rest of us will sleep peacefully at night.

EC, you can twist all you want, but your viewpoint of what should be is not the accepted one of the majority of America.

We need more than the old hidden Libertarian mantra of "get off of my lawn."

No, guy, what makes this government so intrusive and burdensome is the big corporations you shill for have gutted the middle class and their ability to do for themselves. This is what you don't get, living off someone else's government benefits instead of providing for yourself.

When people have to go to the government for their housing, food and medical needs because the private sector can't provide them with enough of a living to get it themselves, they are going to love them some more government and they are going to have no problem with redistribution.

I didn't vote for President Obama because he was black. I voted for him because he was overwhelmingly the better person for the job as compared to the GOP candidates that ran against him.

I anticipate that, in 2016, I will vote for whatever candidate runs on Democratic ticket because I expect that the GOP candidate will be another total jackass like everyone they've run since the elder President Bush.

If the GOP collectively had an ounce of brains, they'd run Huntsman in the next election. He's the only recent GOP primary candidate that even close to electable.

The GOP has practically turned the phrase "too liberal" into a synonym for "intellectually qualified".

And this is what the Wingnuts don't get. Obama didn't win because he was Black.

Obama won because Bush screwed up.

McCain didn't offer a clear alternative to Bush and really, neither did Romney.

Obama won because he was black coupled with democrats stuffing ballot boxes.

Coupled with Romney bashing American heroes because of their sexual orientation and Romney bashing 51% of Americans for not being as rich as he is. Not to mention Romney being the worst of the conservative candidates on the ticket. Ex republican governor Gary Stevens was the only true conservative on the ticket. Anyone voting for Romney voted for a moderate socialist.
