Is low self esteem the real problem socialists have?

Thanks guys, I know you're being assholes, but it caused me to find this picture and remember it... I got a good chuckle :) (I've been sick the past week so it was nice to really laugh, even with the coughing fit after heh)

So we had just got the inflatable there, everyone was supposed to act like they were chillin' and taking a nap for the pic. Right after the timer took the picture my asshole husband threw me in the lake hahaha I lost my glasses and keys, Ty had to dive down under the dock and get them (he's got a life guard certification, youngest does as well now. This was... wow 10 years ago now I suppose) Anyway, it killed the rango fob so I had to figure out how the manual door locks worked on it heh Now that I think about it, I ended up getting a new rango fob in burlwood that matched the interior faux wood trim so it was kind of a blessing in disguise. :p

And ya know, further than that, I got to looking through pictures and stuff... Damn we have good looking kids! These are from Disneyland in California, maybe 8 or 9 years ago. I just love that glower Andrew used to make, it's frickin adorable, just like his Dad, and Shawn with that sweet smile, Vince and his mischievous air, always in trouble that one, and Ty had such a great smile, lit up a whole room... (He was off getting us popcorn during the first pic as I recall) Andrew's 24 now, working as an RV tech making $25/h, Shawn's 22 now, working as an aircraft refueler making $30/h, Ty's 23 now, working an apprentice tattoo artist making $40-50/h, and the youngest is 16, graduating HS early next year, and working with the National Park Service making $18/h this summer. (Not pictured is our daughter who was in college at the time, she's 34 now, just got married, and is working as a teacher in Wisconsin)

This is what life is about, the /real/ American Dream isn't white picket fences, its good memories with your family, raising your kids to support themselves and their own families. This is my legacy, and honestly, I really couldn't be more proud of all of them. ~warm fuzzies~

But anyway thanks to ya'll, I texted them and let them know how proud of them I was, its one of those things that gets forgotten and really shouldn't. :)
