Is our economy better regulated by liberty or by government?

Common sense says liberty since liberty works through millions of shoppers each day while govt works through a handful of distant bureaucrats each day.

Non sequitur.

'Liberty' can't regulate anything.

All human systems are regulated by laws.

Wrong. You obviously never heard of the concept of spontaneous order. Most human institutions came into existence without government, including things like money. banking and law.

How well did Liberty work in Oregon with their water wars?

Under Oregon law, all water is publicly owned. With some exceptions, cities, farmers, factory owners and other users must obtain a permit or water right from the Water Resources Department to use water from any source— whether it is underground, or from lakes or streams. Landowners with water flowing past, through, or under their property do not automatically have the right to use that water without a permit from the Department.--http://Water Resources Department Water Law

Fascists/socialists tendency is to nationalize and create shortages. The parasites don't mind the suffering so long as everyone is suffering. Exempted of course is the elite - the Commissars.

.
How do Individuals resolve conflicts over scarce resourses without government?

There are complex and real links between water and conflict. While water resources have rarely been the sole source of violent conflict or war, there is a long history of tensions and violence over access to water resources, attacks on water systems, and the use of water systems as weapons during war.--http://pacinst.org/issues/water-and-conflict/conflicts-over-water/

It is Only theory since socialism exists and Anarcho-Capitalism doesn't.

Dude, even Alice 1.0 argues better than you.

Is our economy better regulated by liberty (code-speak in this context for 'unbridled capitalism') or government?

You need a third choice.

The truth lies in the middle.

Wrong.
Says you.

Unbridled Nanny-Statism results in a frigging train-wreck.

Unbridled Capitalism results in a frigging train-wreck.

It is only by finding and sustaining an intelligent balance between the two, that societies-at-large thrive and prosper.

What "train wreck" has unregulated capitalism ever caused?

If Republicans had their way, a company could feed you poison and the Republicans would say "let the market work it out". Only it would be too late for those who died from the poison. Republicans see that as "acceptable loses" and "the price of freedom".

If you have to ask the question, you will not understand the answer.

Do you ever post anything that is actually true and isn't the lowest, sleaziest, ignominious personal attack?

Thanks for playing!

Those consumers are powerless against the rich and powerful. Governments are the referees in each country. Is your government corrupt? By who? The rich who want what you want.

Liberty, or whatever it is you mean by liberty, was in place during the Wall Street Crash in 1928, right? Worked well?

It certainly gives you more ups and downs, more chances for rich people to screw everyone else out of their money, more chances for them to accumulate all the money in the world and enslave everyone else.

It's a great illustration. Don't you get it? Whatever wrong is done, let the mkt decide. Libertarians are so dumb but think they're smart. Like Jethro bodene on the Beverly hillbilly's.

They're hardly "powerless." Did anyone force them to buy the Edsel? How about BETAmax? Remember Nokia phones? Why isn't the price of gas over $5.00/gal?

If government favors the rich, they why do you support it?

I can't imagine any claim more idiotic and wrong than the one you just posted.

Aren't liberty and regulation contradictions in terms?

The government regulates conduct through the law. Because we are a nation of laws, not of men, we follow the concept of ordered liberty. If it is just liberty ... do what you want ... then that concept is survival of the fittest.

Libertarians don't endorse criminal acts. Poisoning people is murder.

You're a fucking idiot.

Somebody else with the energy to devote to this, this evening, is going to have to play the part of Remedial Educator for you, with respect to the dangers of unbridled and unregulated capitalism. I haven't got it in me tonight. That doesn't mean, however, that i concede the point, nor that the point should be conceded.
