Is the theocratic authoritarianism of the GOP on the rise or in eclipse?

It’s going to be an issue. Guaranteed. Republicans want to ban it. Democrats want to keep it legal. Most Americans want it to be legal. The Republicans who believe the polls and early election results won’t want it to be an issue. But the base is made up of radicals who refuse to believe those facts. It’s going to be an issue.
We'll see.

We'll see.

The problem is that few of the Radical Republican positions enjoy majority support. One of the few is the idiotic idea to send the US Military into Mexico after the Cartels. Anybody proposing that should read some History. It has never gone well in history and will only serve to raise the population against us. Mexican cities would resemble Fallujah for our troops.

So what other issues do the Republicans have besides Democrats are awful? Gay Rights has widespread support. So the war on Homosexuals is a good way to elect the Dems. Border Wall? No majority there.

So all you are left with is the economy with record low unemployment and record job creation. Inflation which has topped out and starting to show signs of dropping.

I don’t think Democrats are awful will carry you through to the election. You’re going to need some issues.

We aren't going to send troops into Mexico. I haven't heard any candidates mention that. I think the price of food and gasoline are good issues. Seniors on social security can't even afford McDonald's.

With a weaponized Supreme Court latching onto make-believe cases to legislate that discrimination against legal marriages is legal, where is the nation headed?

John Adams who wrote to his wife Abigail that “My religion you know is not exactly conformable to that of the greatest part of the Christian World,” proclaimed in the Treaty of Tripoli that “the government of the United States of America is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion.”

Thomas Jefferson, intensely interested in religious philosophy and an enthusiastic proponent of religions freedom, emphasize the need for “a wall of separation between church and state.”

For, verily, I proclaim unto you
"I did try and f*ck her, she was married...

And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything...
Grab them by the p*ssy. You can do anything!"

Has there been backsliding from patriotic, fundamental principles?

One religious sect that has been increasing politically-intrusive, Southern Baptists, lost nearly half a million members in 2022

The long, slow decline of the nation’s largest Protestant denomination continues.

Membership in the Southern Baptist Convention was down by nearly half a million in 2022…

the SBC had 13.2 million members in 2022, down from 13.68 million in 2021. That loss of 457,371 members is the largest in more than a century…

Once a denomination of 16.3 million, the SBC has declined by 1.5 million members since 2018, and by more than 3 million members since 2006. The COVID-19 pandemic played a role in the downturn, as did the reality that as older members die off, there are fewer young people to replace them.

What remain the nation's largest Protestant denomination is still adamant that a woman should submit to the will of her man, even if he’s a flaming anal aperture.

It decrees that a woman’s reproductive freedom should be abrogated to politicians, predominantly men, of course.

It vehemently opposes gender equality in marriage, in contrast to the overwhelming majority of Americans who are supportive of it.

Dominated by aging white men without a college degree, it is in denial of scientific awareness, particularly in climatology, and in medicine that recognizes conditions such as gender dysphoria. The thumpers insist that children suffering from the condition must be neglected rather than treated.

It’s hardly surprising that their veneration of a court-declared sexual abuser remains fanatical. The shrinking Southern Baptist Convention remains a seething hotbed of Trumpery,

Bart Barber, after being re-elected president of the Southern Baptist Convention, called Trump “a demonstrably evil man.”

“He’s vain, vulgar, vicious and vindictive,” Al Jackson, a retired pastor from Auburn, Alabama succinctly summed up the sore loser of the 2020 presidential election.

And what rough beast,
its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born

4 Goebbels!

Accuse the other side of that which you do

1. I disagree with sending troops into Mexico. Did the CIA kill Pablo Escobar? Could the CIA start killing cartel leaders? Could the US use drones or missiles to destroy cartel drug manufacturing and processing sites?

2. My brother was an Air Force radar operator. He saw drug planes take off and unload, but was under strict orders NOT to inform the DEA. WTF?

3. Gay rights vs Parental rights? I'll take parental rights any day in an election. Do the math.

4. Border wall is very popular, its almost complete.

5. The economy isn't as much of an issue as the "war on energy" is.

6. You want some issues against democrats? Here are a few topics
From their MSM propaganda networks and hi-tech oligarchs (google Zuckerbucks)
to the FBI orchestrating cover ups and fake Russian disinformation claims
to their university leftist programming centers
to their CRT propaganda teachings in schools
to their "deep state" hold on the government
to their creeping attacks on family values & religious beliefs
to their lawless prosecutors
to their drug culture
to their "great replacement" operation
to their grip on school boards, calling parents “domestic terrorists”
to their tranny bullshit getting little kids butchered
to their warped views of the US military
to their vicious attacks on parental rights
to their voter fraud networks
to their hatred of religions, calling Catholics “domestic terrorists”
to their war on Christmas
to their hatred of the Founding Fathers
to their fake history and racism
to their drag shows in grade schools
to their late term abortions
To the FBI spying on Catholics
to their hatred of Patriotism, the American flag, and THE 4TH OF JULY
to the Marxists pushing for the US military to use EV tanks and vehicles

For years we heard how SC decisions we didn't like were just tough shit...."Live with it" they said....Now look how they react when they don't get the decisions they want....The world is ending in their eyes....Good grief...
You may fantasize that the world is ending, but the fact is that the current Supreme Court is legislating in a manner that does not reflect the patriotic values of most Americans, undermining confidence in America.

The decisive votes to overthrow popular rulings and established law were cast by individuals appointed by an individual who rejects the democratic process in which the will of the People is reflected.

A confirmed loser in a presidential election should concede his loss, as had been the case from 1789 until 2020. That is how democracy works, and enrages those who have contempt for it.

Trump did not lose, shill. He was defrauded.

I agree that divine intervention put Trump in office. If Hillary would have had three opportunities to nominate Supreme Court Justices, America would be over.

Absolutely no question about it. The theocratic authoritarianism of Democrats is definitely on the rise.

So all your issues are the Democrats are awful. Oh that and starting a war with Mexico. See history to get an idea how that works out.
