On the pandemic (supposed) we were told by the highest ranking CDC people that mask were not needed for any reason, then they changed their mind. At the first of the virus, there was a shortage of masks. People were advised to not use them in order to save them for the medical profession that needed them worse than the average person. When supplies were increased, everyone was advised to use them. That was not a lie. That was not being wrong. That was using common sence.
