More traditional liberals, people who are simply left of center, are not nearly as open to socialism as are the zealots (well-represented on this site). The zealots are the wing of the party, the hardcore ideologues, and they have become far more emboldened with Obama's presidency.

Capitalism works best when...

1). People need get trained in a field where they are being recruited by employers. Then they are constantly looking for better jobs and their employers know this. This is the important part for the worker in the conflict that exists between employee versus employer that is so important to capitalism..I walked off 2, not 1, but 2 jobs with no given notice nothing. I then secured better jobs immediately. Try it. It is an awesome feeling.
2). In today's world its going to take a degree to be able to pull this off but perhaps quite worth it.
