IT BEGINS: Indiana Restaurant Reportedly Vows Not To Serve Gay Weddings

It's funny, in a sad way, that the RWnuts don't know they've lost on the gay rights issue.

As was said in 'Gladiator' ( a con fave)

"People should know when they are conquered."

Did you get your brownshirt cleaned and your jackboots polished, shitting bull?

You have a Kristalnacht to attend!

It was the Nazis who brought on the refusal of serving Jews by 'Aryan' businesses.

No one is talking about refusing to serve gays a sit-down or take-out meal. We're talking about not forcing a religious business owner to host or attend a gay ceremony. There is a huge difference.

And given the many parallels between Nazi ideology and liberalism, I would be careful about making Nazi comparisons. The Nazis were much closer to liberalism than they were to conservatism.
Nazism was a bit of both, it isn't 'liberal' or 'conservative'.

If you call it 'socialist' then you have to realize that Nazism was anti-union and endorsed state driven economics with corporate-state monopolies.

If you call it 'liberal' socially, then you would have to ignore the heavy censorship of art and culture, and the Nazi regime's imprisonment of all open communists, social Democrats, and democratic socialists.

To call it 'conservative' would be silly too, as Nazism was opposed to most Keynesian and Free Market ideas, as well as any kind of economic or religious freedom.
Nazism was fascist. It was pro union, but only the right unions. IT was after all the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
IOW, it was perfectly in step with Progressivism, which indeed admired it and vice versa.

The Nazis banned unions.
Wrong.
They banned independent unions.

What you dont know would fill volumes.

Do gay people really serve pizza at their wedding receptions? For some reason I find that hard to believe.

It makes me so happy to see lefties fighting fire with fire and challenging religious extremism. The future does not look bright for religious zealots. They are on the wrong side of history.

That's why more and more states are passing Religious Rights Restoration acts?
You're a bumbler. Not even mildly persuasive.

Sounds like an opinion as there is no "wrong side of history". This is very much a fight for civil rights....from our perspective as well.

Actually, CNN was talking about that a few minutes ago - regarding states passing religious extremist laws. All GOP presidential candidates will be asked these questions during debates. It should be fun to watch...

Religious extremists are fighting a losing battle - therefore, putting them on the wrong side of history. Was the Confederacy not on the wrong side of history?

Good for them.

Which part is good for them?
The free advertising?
The admitted bigotry? Even though they mean well.

Hey, If a "secret" gay couple comes in, passes themselves off as straight, does big, good business with the pizza man and then the couple shows the owners they did business with gays. And the earth still turned. Do they still get to heaven, They were tricked? (I don't think people who judge other people by being racist and bigoted get too close to heaven anyway) but I bet you do.

How about a gay black couple. Does the owner of the business get in trouble for refusing the black part but not the homosexual part? Or is it an either/or situation?

No wonder Pence wants clarification.
It's good for them to stand up for their beliefs. You can attach any nasty name you want to. That shows more about you than them. They never said they hated gays, or blacks for whatever reason you decided to throw that in there, you did. Any gay person and their friends are more than welcome to come purchase pizza's, cakes, get pictures taken etc. These people based on their own religious beliefs simply want to draw the line at being forced to participate in a wedding for them. And the law should protect them from having to do so without the threat of being sued and all the other bull that comes from these gay activists. Just like they can refuse to participate in a KKK wedding, a devil worship wedding or any other type of activity that invades religious traditions and practices. Gays are basically making fun of religion when they hold these ceremonies. It's their way of saying fuck you I'm going to slime your traditions and practices and be a total fucking prick in the process by forcing you to participate as well in our debauchery. It's time to take a stand and draw the line at how far these cretins are going to be allowed to go.

I love watching fags have a massive conniption fit over the fact that they can't force people to participate in their mock marriages.

Too funny.

Sounds like you are saying that gay Christians are not real Christians. Somehow you and your brand of Christians were given the authority from Christ to determine who worshipped him and how they worshipped him. Can you provide a link showing how and when that happened?

OK so you admit your point about being on the wrong side of history is incorrect. Wonderful.

It didn't sound like that to me.

When people don't read from the script you assign them, I love how you just pretend that they *meant* to say what you think they are *thinking*...so you say stupid things like "gosh it sounds like you meant" or "So what you're saying is..."

Pathetic.

Sounds to me like you read something way fucking different than what I wrote. No Christian is without sin, not a single one. However that doesn't mean all Christians must partake in others sins.

Being on the wrong side of right side of history just means future generations look at people in the past as smart a righteous people who made wise decisions that improved the lives of future generations and those who stunted progress do to their stubbornness, foolishness and lack of foresight and wisdom.

There is no such thing as a "wrong side of history" no matter how much you deluded Leftwats say it.

The "wrong side of history" argument is for the simpletons and brain dead. A lot of shit has happened in history with a lot of the people behind it and cheering that sure as hell didn't end up being on the "right side of history".

the whole "wrong side of history" is just code for "the real history doesn't work for us, so we've created a different version..and if you don't accept it, you're on the wrong side of history."
