When FDR was clearly dying, the DNC fired it's own Vice President while he was on vacation and put an unknown timid bean counter senator without a college education to run as FDR's VP for his 4th and last term. Ultimately "give him hell Harry" Truman couldn't even muster enough votes in his own party to run for a full second term. Look at what the DNC is doing today.. They have some sort of scam known as "super delegates" to make sure they get a fake socialist rather than a real socialist nominated.
