Yes I'm sure. Its not just his voting record and I dont give people a pass because they grew up in the south. Not all white southerners even during those times believed as he did. I think excusing someones racism due to their upbringing is lazy.

The only reason Johnson signed the Civil Rights act is because he knew that Malcolm X and his ideology of violent protest if necessary was taking hold. If Blacks had show a trend towards MLKs earlier ideology of peaceful protest Blacks would probably still be waiting for Civil Rights so I give him no credit.

Prove to me that 99.99% of eligible, legal voters already don't have acceptable ID? Find me a person who doesn't have a driver's license, a SS card, or some other form of government ID, and I'll show you a person who cannot get government benefits, rend a car, get healthcare, do anything. And we all know the only people even likely not to have no ID is some rare poor schmuck on benefits, welfare, so we know he has the ID. And Gov. ID is fast, easy and FREE. So it all comes back to the millions upon millions of people who have ID to vote, but aren't eligible, legal citizens! And we all know Jerry Brown can't give away IDs fast enough to anything on two legs.

If we're going to have millions (5-10 million?) illegal non-citizens voting in our elections in a democratically sponsored quid-pro-quo, then not only do we not need worry about what Russia is doing, but why not invite the whole world, all of Europe---- ---- anyone who wants to have a say in who gets elected here have a voice?
