I've Never Understood Why Republicans Call Themselves Conservative

[Q

Repubs calling themselves Conservative is like Strippers calling themselves "College Students". Everyone knows its a lie

Republicans being almost as fiscally irresponsible as the Democrats is one of the main reasons I am not a Republican anymore.

If you has any sense of fiscally responsible for our country you would dump the filthy ass Democrats like I dumped the Republicans.

Trying to pretend that somehow the Democrats believe in responsibility is absolutely as incredulous as it gets.

I dumped the repubs when bush ruined a balanced budget. Didn't need any more proof than that.
Yeah.

Sure

Uh-huh!

I think most Republicans referring to themselves as 'Conservatives', equate Conservatism with hating on gays, minorities, and poor people. They feel that makes them 'Conservatives.' They've thrown the 'Small/Less Government' thing right out the window.

Most Republicans these days fully support Big Government control of the People. Therefore they've stopped equating Conservatism with 'Small/Less Government.' It's all about hating on the poor and defenseless. They're just greedy hateful bullies at this point.

Democrats are fiscally irresponsible. That is a given. There is absolutely no question about that. That is a no brainer.

The real question is how many Republicans (who suppose to know better) go along with the Libtard irresponsibility and unfortunately the answer is "most of them".
As opposed to Democrats who are twice as bad.

[Q

You keep saying this but the numbers disagree with you.

That is not true.

Democrats have always been fiscally irresponsible. So have the Republicans. The debt has gown in every administration of my life time whether there has been a Republican or Democrat in office. The size of the government has grown in my life time regardless of whether there had been a Republican or Democrat in office.

When I was born the total cost of government was less than 20% of GDP. Now it is close to 40%. It did not get there because of one party. It got there because nobody really practice conservative responsibility. Instead they practiced Liberal irresponsibility.

When I was born a rich guy like Trump or Gates could have paid off the national debt. Nowadays the cumulative national debt is almost 100% of the entire country's GDP.

Democrats preach irresponsibility. They want to grow the size of government and they don't give a shit what it cost, either in taxes or in debt.

Republicans claim they care about the fiscal responsibility but at the end of the day they raise taxes and they incur debt. You know, the thing that Liberals say they like to do.

Reagan was a great example of that. He came up with a rinky dink income tax cut and preached a great story about smaller government but at the end of the day he cost of government increased, total taxation increased and the debt increased. Exactly what we would have got had a Democrat been elected.

Trying to disquisition between the two parties is nothing more than rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Democrats are the greedy scum of America using the filthy ass government to redistribute what they are unable to earn themselves. Republicans know better but unfortunately lack the courage to oppose that kind of thievery and most of the time go along with the Democrat irresponsibility.

[

As opposed to Democrats who are twice as bad.

Republicans are 1000 times better than the Democrats.

Unfortunately 1000 X 0 = 0.

The Democrats promise bad government and deliver bad government.

The Republicans preach good government but at the end of the day deliver almost the same bad government as the Democrats.

The size of government grew under Reagan and it grew under Bush. So did the debt. Yes it would have been worse had the Democrats been in power but the distinction is minimal.

The Democrats are the express train to bankruptcy.

The Republicans may make go a little slower but will still get there.

Once Republicans made 'Conservatism' only about social issues, they lost their way. They've turned to Big Brother to take over citizens' personal lives. That's made them become staunch Big Government proponents.

So be very skeptical of anyone calling themselves 'Conservatives.' The meaning is very different these days. Don't equate it with Small/Less Government. Because that's no longer the case.

Because your mindless partisan bigotry has always prevented you from understanding that the "Republican" and "Conservative" Venn circles only partially overlap.

In the debate I didn't see the Democrats discussing the enormous debt that was incurred under Obama and will continue if The Hildabeast or that clown Sanders get elected.

All I heard from all of the Democrat idiots (except Webb) is how they were going to give away free stuff to everybody and their little brown dog and no plans on how they were going to pay for it.

The Democrats are more concerned about appealing to the greed and envy of their Moon Bat base then they are about fiscal responsibility. That is why they are the scum of America.

If the Democrats were to be more interested in paying the country's enormous debt than they are to take away the right to keep and bear arms then we would all be better off.
