Not all of them do. what I don't understand is how you don't mind the Democrat party be known as the TAX and SPEND party. what I can't understand is why you liberals don't care if your party spends us into bankruptcy. all this wailing you do about Republicans. clean up your own screwed up party you support

Hey Numbnuts!!!! You obviously didn't even look at the first chart. Obama's spending has been trivial compared to Reagan and the Bushes. It's amazing what cooling down two hot wars and bringing home 60,000-80,000 troops will do for the financial affairs of the nation...not to mention the hundreds or thousands of young American lives which will be spared because of it.

John McCain wrote the official theme song of the Republican party..."Bomb Bomb Bomb....Bomb Bomb Iran!!

Democrats have been tax & spend, Republicans have been borrow & spend.

Between the two, taxing & spending is, by far, more fiscally responsible over the long term.

If you want to really cut spending, keep military spending high AND reduce the deficit/debt, something BIG will have to give.
.

You know that Obama has borrowed more money as President and what he voted for as Senator than all the other Presidents of the US combined, don't you? He is the king of debt. He is also a Democrat so the Democrats have the record for what you have described as being irresponsible.

Excessive government spending is irresponsible no matter how it is done.

Taxing and borrowing are both irresponsible. Taxes robs of our current income and debt robs us of our future income.

The problem is not necessarily how you pay for massive government spending but the fact that there is massive government spending.

The combined Federal Local and State cost of government is about 40% of GDP and that is the problem no matter if is funded through debt or having some of the highest taxes in the world.

He cut taxes for everybody.

You got to give it to the crazies... They never actually looked at what Reagan did but just what he said...
Reagan added the largest percentage increase to Debt since the war followed by G.W Bush. Even Obama is going to beat Bush and he was handed a basket case.
Really? So you believe 9/11, Katrina, housing and banking crash happened during obama's term?

Bush funded two wars with emergency spending bills and doubled the national debt from $5.7 trillion to nearly $12 trillion. Those are facts.....not horse shit from Fox News.

How in the name of goodness can a president cut tax rates for his rich buddies and go in debt for two blazing wars where thousands of young Americans die 10,000 miles from their homes?

Obama as a Senator and the filthy ass 2006 elected Democrat Congress passed Bush's two greatest deficit budgets so they own responsibility for that debt. Obama continued spending money in Iraq fighting the war for three years and he is still spending money there. Obama escalated the war in Afghanistan and said just the other day that he was going to keep thousands of troops there for only goodness knows how long.

It is always amusing to see the filthy ass lying Democrats trying to blame their failures on somebody else.

Both Democrats and Republicans spend more money than they take in. Under Obama the Democrats have the record with more debt than all the other Presidents combined. That is a bad thing. If you really gave a shit about debt you wouldn't vote for either party.

Until you take responsibility for the Democrat debt and stop trying to blame it somebody else then all you are doing is spouting partisan pig bullshit and that makes you look like a fool.

I stopped voting for Republicans a long time ago because at the end of the day they are just as irresponsible and liberal as the Democrats. When are you going to pull your head out of your ass and stop supporting the irresponsible Democrats? I suspect never.

Reagan didn't get the reduction he wanted from the dems, so blaming him for all the spending is retarded. Ignoring the deficit is just as retarded. The libs don't like military spending, we get it. Dems let it falter, Repubs build it back up. But it pales in social spending so the OP is dishonest.

Republicans have a bad spending record. Being fiscally responsible is something they just talk about.
True, but not unlike Ds. Big Ears said W's spending was unpatriotic and then he spent even more.

Akin to LBJ claiming Goldwater would get us into a big war...then he sent 50k American boys to die in the swamps of Vietnam...

Akin to FDR condemning Hoover for his economic interventions, then he intervened much more.

Nothing changes with lying pols, but most Americans are easily fooled.

Yes but given how they talk I expect more from republicans.
Why? That is most naive. One must NEVER expect or believe ANYTHING a pol talks about. No matter which party they come from.

History clearly tells us they are prolific liars.

If the Democrats thought Bush's spending was excessive then all they had to do when they took over Congress in 2007 was to defund the spending.

However, they didn't didn't do that. What they did do was pass budgets in 2007 and 2008 with massive debt. Then when Obama became President they massively added to it. In fact they added more debt than all the other administrations in the history of the country combined.

When a Democrat tries to blame their debt on somebody else they are simply lying to you.

Of course that is what Liberals do. They lie.

I don't understand is how you don't mind the Democrat party be known as the TAX and SPEND party. what I can't understand is why you liberals don't care if your party spends us into bankruptcy. all this wailing you do about Republicans
I don't understand how you don't mind the Republican party be known as the BORROW and SPEND party. It's the GOP borrowing not the taxing that bankrupted the country.

And that is a complete lie! St Ronnie REJECTED the spending cuts agreed to by Senate leader Dole and the congressional Dems because the spending cuts included cuts to his worthless unworkable Star Wars pork barrel boondoggle.

Yes they are, but people vote for repubs based on then claiming to be fiscally responsible. I don't think that is why people vote democratic.

Bush ended on a truly disastrous note (2009). I believe this puts things more in perspective. I expect better from a combined recovery and peace dividend.

Looks like Obama increased the debt by a larger amount than any previous president.
Bush spending commitments do not end the day he leaves office. The debt at the end of Bush's last fiscal year was nearly 12 trillion and the 2 trillion in interest on that debt can hardly be blamed on Obama, if you were honest.

You got to give it to the crazies... They never actually looked at what Reagan did but just what he said...
Reagan added the largest percentage increase to Debt since the war followed by G.W Bush. Even Obama is going to beat Bush and he was handed a basket case.

Jimmy Carter cut military spending drastically (resulting in things like the Iran hostage crises) forcing Reagan to increase that spending (resulting in things like the demise of the Soviet Union).

Bill Clinton cut military spending forcing Bush to repair the damage by increasing it.

Do you see the pattern here?

You are aware we spend more than the next 10 countries combined?

They debt was $10.6 trillion the day Obama took office. It's now $18.1 trillion.
