As for "cutting" Social Security, I have been advocating raising the Social Security and Medicare eligibility age to 70, and indexing it to 9 percent of the population, for as long as I have been on this forum.

And there are Republicans who want to raise the SS age to 70. I'm sure it could be argued that is a "cut".

So it is a fact that some Republicans want to sunset SS, and some want to cut it.

Biden spoke the truth.

Raising the Social Security retirement age to 70 is the first actual conservative policy I have seen from the GOP in a very long time, and I am happy to see it.

But it is not going to happen any time soon. Our politicians are too cowardly to do the right thing.

Carville gave us the best presidency of Modern America, the Bill Clinton Golden Age. The era of balanced budgets and booming jobs and higher taxes on the ultra wealthy, and less military spending. Therefore carville has a lot of credibility on the issues and a track record of success that no republican has.
