I don't put much stock in religion, but I do believe the Jewish people and the great state of Israel.

Why? Because they are mainly secular, or because you don't like the Palestinians? I mean religion is why they are there, most believe, I think it was mainly the Brisitish to have an outpost to protect the Suez Canal.

As I understand it, the concept evolved over time and was finally fixed at Nicea. Christianity began as a number of Jewish cults that perished under the power of Rome and the Roman Church. It went from the religion of Jesus to become the religion about Jesus.

Philo described the Logos, Word of God with God from the beginning, which most likely hugely influenced the book of John. He was a jew but more Roman /Greek and Platonist. Although a following emerged after the writings in the later half of the first century, after destruction of the Judea Temple, it was not really birthed until Constantine needed a unifying religion to hold his empire together.
