Do not know if you have been keeping up with financial news. But there are record number of employers filling bankruptcy or are closing locations. Not just stores but even freight companies with long records of doing business. I have believed we are headed for a recession for awhile.

Container price index has climbed substantially in 2024 but it was near record lows to begin with and is beginning to drop again. (No goods are being shipped...we are in a recession)
