Just in: Unofficial Democratic response to Devin's Dud

Compelling 6 page rebuttal from Jerry Nadler who unlike Little Devin, actually READ the underlying documents. The official response to come next week.

WASHINGTON — A top House Democrat is challenging the core conclusion of the memo released by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes on Friday, calling the allegation that the Justice Department and FBI withheld key details as they sought a secret surveillance warrant on former Trump adviser Carter Page “deliberately misleading and deeply wrong on the law.”

NBC News has exclusively obtained a six-page rebuttal to the Nunes memo from Rep. Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, which was to be circulated to all House Democrats on Saturday.

Given his senior position, Nadler is one of the small number of lawmakers who has viewed the highly-sensitive documents that are the basis of Nunes’ memo.

Democratic rebuttal calls Nunes memo 'deliberately misleading'
Are you seriously suggesting that Devin Nunes just 'made up' the summation memo without reading the supporting documents? So the Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee is going to put his career on the line and just make shit up? That's what you are going with?

He admitted he didn't read the application to the FISA court. You tell me how he did it.

Not true. The President could and probably will have all that declassified.

He can do that, you know.

Revealing sources, methods and detail to that extent unredacted would be grounds for impeachment and likely a trial for treason.

You're still living a crackhead's dream. President Trump will never be "impeached", as surely as you idiots believed that he would never be elected. The Memo released yesterday has taken up the entire news media cycle. Why do you think the GOP released it on a Friday? So you people could sit and stew in your own juices.

Even the Superbowl ratings are going to suffer from the coverage the memo is getting. Personally, I look forward to Monday. Here's a rundown on what you could possibly see happen then:

7:00 AM - Sessions "resigns".
7:05 AM - The entire top layer of the FBI is fired and escorted to the door.
7:15 AM - Trey Gowdy named interim AG.
7:30 AM - Warrants issued for the arrests of James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Stzrizxko, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Rosenstein, etc, etc.
8:00 AM - All warrants served, and all suspects taken into custody.
8:15 AM - All suspects are charged en masse with treason, and ordered to be held indefinitely with no bail, in a Supermax Federal penitentiary.
8:30 AM - President Trump tweets a picture of his breakfast, which consists of 2 eggs over-easy, a grilled NY Strip steak, 2 scoops of ice cream, and can of Diet Coke.
8:45 AM - America becomes GREAT AGAIN.

He’s already said he would declassify it.

I was hoping this would get leaked. The delaying tactics by the IC deserved to be thwarted.

I wonder if Trump will veto the release of the opposition memo? If he does - that will be very telling.

You're trying to read something that doesn't exist, into the document, comrade.

It's seriously funny when you guys refer to the 60% of Americans who despise Trump as "comrade".

Bullshit. Everyone know how historically you shitheads have loved everything communistic.

Don't try to deflect. That shit doesn't work any more. It doesn't work with me and frankly, nobody else is buying it either.

Well, then why have you deadbeats cozied up to an asshole who adores Vladimir Putin?

Tis quite the puzzlement

He had Gowdy view them and write the memo. Thus why the dems keep calling it Nunes memo, never clarifying he had Gowdy view them and create the memo, trying to make Nunes look looney. He wasn’t. He was smart having a former. US prosecutor do it.

Actually OL, it hasn't been leaked. This is an unofficial response. The official ten-pager will drop in a few days.
wow, imagine that, an unofficial 6 page response, an official 10 page response and a week or so to come up with it, all for a "dud"...some brilliant minds working on this "nothing burger"

That's only an a piss-poor example of an Alinskyite projection. Everyone is well aware of how you shit-sucking leftists admire shithead communists like Putin, Mao, Che, and Chavez. You always have and that's a known fact. To believe that you leftists somehow developed a new-found sense of patriotism and anti-communism is akin to believing in unicorns and big rock candy mountains. So cut the bullshit already and quit trying to re-write history. You're not doing a very convincing job at it. You may be fooling yourselves, but your seriously not fooling anyone else, especially myself.

Puzzle on that for awhile.

Nunes SAID he didn't read the underlying intel. He didn't have to, the White House helped write his silly little memo. The chair of the house intel committee humiliated himself previously with his midnight run to the White House.

why are you surprised. he's made himself look like a lying moron for trump for months. or did you forget he was part of the transition and that's why he was supposed to stay the hell away from the Russia investigation.

I had to read it after your comment. It really is a very poor attempt. Lol

A Donnie Dotard sycophant was interviewed on MSNBC a little while ago. They asked her "so didn't Nunes recuse himself?"

"Oh NO!" was her response ... "Mr Nunes is a true patriot who is protecting us from the CABAL!!" :rolleyes-41:

Quit leaving this out-

Nunes said he relied on the review of committee member Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.).

“No, I didn’t,” Nunes told Fox News’s Bret Baier, when asked if he saw the applications.

The memo, released earlier in the day by the House Intelligence Committee, alleges that politically motivated material was used to petition the government for a warrant to surveil an American citizen.

Nunes, the chairman of the committee, brushed off news reports that accused him of not seeing the underlying documents as “bogus.”
He explained that the committee set up an agreement with the Justice Department that would allow just one person to review the documents.

Nunes said he thought Gowdy would be the best choice because of his background as a federal prosecutor, and that Gowdy then shared his notes and observations with the rest of the members.

Nunes: I did not read material summarized in the memo
