American police forces need to be demilitarized and disarmed, until they stop murdering people at traffic stops, or those who are simply stopped at the side of the road with a breakdown, looking for help.

The only response your police have to any situation where people act in unexpected ways, is to demand compliance and shoot those who don't comply. People with mental health crises are not going to comply. People who are scared or in crisis are not going to comply. Police are shooting first even when they know the suspect is unarmed.

And why are there always a half dozen or more cops at these traffic stop shootings. How many police are necessary to issue a ticket for a broken tail light?

What makes you so certain they found the "right person". They convicted him in minutes despite no evidence whatsoever linking him to the crime or the crime scene? No gun, no DNA, and the only "eye witness" is the guy said to be driving the getaway car, a career criminal getting a reduced sentence for his testimony.

We've seen this time after time after time. Police arrest some black man who claims he didn't do it. He's convicted on a dodgy eye witness identification, with no other evidence to back it up, and 20 years later, somebody else confesses to the crime.

The USA already has more people in jail that both Russia and China combined. The home of the brave and the land of the free, is now the world's worst police state, and racial minorities are the most likely to be imprisoned.

The right wing answer to racial unrest, isn't to deal with the police brutality that people are demonstrating against, but rather to INCREASE police brutality and imprisonment as a deterrent to demonstrations.

That didn't work in the 1960's, and it won't work now.
