Kamala Harris did DO anything wrong. She had an affair with an older man. That affair ended YEARS before she ran for public office. This matter has been litigated by the people of California for years and got trotted out every time Ms. Harris ran for office.

Here are the FACTS:

1. Ms. Harris had an affair with an older man in her 20's. The affair was public, not something where either party was hiding in the shadows. The affair ended, amicably, and both moved on. There was nothing illegal or wrong about the relationship. The age difference was a little creepy, but my ex, who is 62 is currently involved with a 28 year old woman, so it's not like this is all that unusual.

2. Some years later, Ms. Harris ran for San Francisco District Attorney. Her former affair did absolutely nothing towards getting her votes, running her campaign or winning the election, but her programs as SF DA were exceptional.

3. Ms. Harris was elected the Attorney General of California, based on her work as San Francisco DA. Explain how the fact that she once had an affair with the Mayor of San Francisco got her elected to that position?

4. Based on her work as AG of California, Ms. Harris was elected to the US Senate.

Even if Ms. Harris got her start in politics by screwing the Mayor of San Francisco, that wouldn't win her any votes, in any the subsequent elections, or garner her praise for the work in any of the jobs to which the people elected to do.

The misogyny and double standards you are promoting with this line of attack is WHY women are running for office.

So keep calling Kamala Harris a slut.
