Kansas taxes

Generally, states and cities that subsidize sports teams don't recoup their investment in the long run and while yes, they provide additional job opportunities for people, how much of that money is flowing down to the middle class as opposed to the wealthy developers, owners, contractors, etc.? These are multi-billion dollar organizations. They should be building their own stadiums.
What is the economic impact of not having a major league sports team?

Again, there aren't droves of people lying in the streets starving, are there? Of the nine states without an income tax, half of them are the fastest growing.
You have one metropolitan region in state that drives economic activity.

And yes, your state still has people starving.

Do you understand the economics word regressive?

I have an MBA, so I most certainly do, and there is no evidence that your so-called "regressive" taxation that leftists like to criticize results in poor outcomes for the population. In fact, the reality is the opposite. The states and countries with the more progressive tax systems and higher rates of taxation more time than not have anemic economic growth and export jobs and opportunities to other places with more favorable tax environments. We've been seeing this happen in California for years now.

Technically, all the states have people starving. So do your big Nordic social welfare states. You'll never cure that anywhere because of the human condition.

New York State may be better. New York City schools are a dumpster fire and they are one of the most expensive districts in the country.
Everything in NY city is expensive. Citing a few underperforming districts does validate a bad state on education.

Why would you think that?

They just passed tax cuts that will, as usual, benefit the wealthiest folk.

And now they want to lure in two major league teams with incentives paid for by sales taxes, which will fall mostly on the less well off as we all know.

Red states suck.

We'll turn a few blue states red, just for you Fartimus.

Dude, I have an BS in Economics. The fact that you would disregard the term regressive tells a lot about the MBA.

Sure, but those Nordic countries have a base income and are ranked as the happiest countries in the world.

Progressives forget much of that money goes to salaries and pensions, and bloated management layers.
