Sounds like some political reverse psychology but who knows? If the next Speaker doesn't push hard on your border than he/she is a waste of space IMO.
Democrats are the ones who voted McCarthy out.....by an overwhelming majority....McCarthy promised that he would not give away the store but the minute he had power he kissed the ass of the big spending Democrats.
