IMO It's a state's rights' thing, and the problem is one that the Federal government created by stepping into this. Obama started it by declaring he would not enforce a LAW simply because he did not like it. Davis, technically, is doing NOTHING Obama did not do. (The law was changed to support Obama's desire LATER.) IMO it's a 'state's rights issue' because many states held democratic elections and voted against same-sex MARRIAGE. (This left the door open for 'civil unions - the govt bestowing benefits to same-sex couples.) The fed govt then stepped in and negated the states' elections and imposed their own mandate instead. (NOT saying if it was right or not.)

And if you live in California or wherever and think what some clerk in Ky is doing is YOUR business, then do be it. Again, there is a simple solution - call for a re-election and get her out of office. BUT JUST LIKE WITH THE BLACK RIOTS/PILAGING/BURNING 'PROTESTS' AROUND THE COUNTRY, people should notice that the demonstrators, malcontents, and protestors there are OUTSIDERS! None of the locals are calling for a no-confidence or re-call vote. Looking at the news you would think the locals are ready to burn her at the stake...not so.

The federal Govt could also step in and render the vote that placed her into office 'null and void' and simply remove her themselves. (They did it to the elections the state had when they outlawed same-sex marriages.) The feds could demand and oversee a new election....but the media is enjoying this, they are getting miles of propaganda out of this, etc.... Whatever...
