Biden blasts MAGA philosophy as 'semi-fascism' - NBC News

Aug 26, 2022 — Joe Biden lashed out at Republicans who've embraced the "Make America Great Again" philosophy central to Donald Trump's presidency, calling .

2. Jerks like Biden and his cohorts simply toss a term that is meant to deprecate any opponent.
David Ramsay Steele notes it in that context:
When the Soviet Union and People's China had a falling out in the 1960s, they each promptly discovered that the other fraternal socialist country was not merely capitalist but "fascist." At the most vulgar level, "fascist" is a handy swear-word for such hated figures as Rush Limbaugh or John Ashcroft who, whatever their faults, are as remote from historical Fascism as anyone in public life today.

3. Lance Morrow writes:

If there are fascists in America these days, they are apt to be found among the tribes of the left. They are Mr. Biden and his people (including the lion’s share of the media), whose opinions have, since Jan. 6, 2021, hardened into absolute faith that any party or political belief system except their own is illegitimate—impermissible, inhuman, monstrous and (a nice touch) a threat to democracy.

The evolution of their overprivileged emotions—their sentimentality gone fanatic—has led them, in 2022, to embrace Mussolini’s formula: “All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.” Or against the party. (People forget, if they ever knew it, that both Hitler and Mussolini began as socialists).

The state and the Democratic Party must speak and act as one, suppressing all dissent. America must conform to the orthodoxy—to the Chinese finger traps of diversity-or-else and open borders—and rejoice in mandatory drag shows and all such theater of “gender.” Meantime, their man in the White House invokes emergency powers to forgive student debt and their thinkers wonder whether the Constitution and the separation of powers are all they’re cracked up to be.

The whole "fascist" dig is pure projection from the Left.

4. What is a Semi-Fascist? The following is far closer to the meaning than anything Biden said:

Those are the people that looted and burned Seattle, and Portland, and Los Angeles, and Chicago, and who made certain that the nation’s Capital was boarded up for about six months, because those Democrat semi-Fascists were looting and burning and stealing and spray painting and vandalizing.

They shot Congressman Steve Scalise in an attempted mass political assassination. The murdered a US Capital police officer in a suicide attack just three months after January 6th.

They committed suicide attacks against police in New York, Dallas and Baton Rouge…..

Semi-Fascist might apply to those Bidenistas who fire-bombed churches in Maryland and North Carolina, and fire -bombed pro-life centers across the country, and use Molotov Cocktails as a way of expressing their Leftist political views.

And those semi-Fascists who laid a three day siege to the White House and burned St. John’s Church, the Church of the Presidents, and tore at the statue of Andrew Jackson in Lafayette Park, and stabbed two members of the Proud Boys, in Washington, DC, two of them African American.

The Ashcroft connection to fascism was his extremist christian views.

The need to cover up an aluminum statue to hide it's breasts from sensitive American eyes?

For shame, for shame on America for taking down the curtain!

5. A note from history and economics that shows the political marriage of Mussolini and the Democrat's godfather, Franklin Roosevelt......and the irony of any Democrat using the term fascist as an invective.

The New Deal is a policy taken wholly by FDR and imposed on America as the New Deal.

Democrat FDR was so in love with Fascism, he called it the New Deal, and imposed it on America.

  1. English and French commentators routinely depicted Roosevelt as akin to Mussolini. A more specific reason why, in 1933, the New Deal was often compared with Fascism was that with the help of a massive propaganda campaign, Italy had transitioned from a liberal free-market system to a state-run corporatist one. And corporatism was considered by elitists and intellectuals as the perfect response to the collapse of the liberal free-market economy, as was the national self-sufficiency of the Stalinist Soviet Union. The National Recovery Administration was comparable to Mussolini’s corporatism as both had state control without actual expropriation of private property.
    1. Mussolini wrote a book review of Roosevelt’s “Looking Forward,” in which he said “…[as] Roosevelt here calls his readers to battle, is reminiscent of the ways and means by which Fascism awakened the Italian people.” Popolo d’Italia, July 7, 1933.
    2. In 1934, Mussolini wrote a review of “New Frontiers,” by FDR’s Sec’y of Agriculture, later Vice-President, Henry Wallace: “Wallace’s answer to what America wants is as follows: anything but a return tyo the free-market, i.e., anarchistic economy. Where is America headed? This book leaves no doubt that it is on the road to corporatism, the economic system of the current century.” Marco Sedda, Il politico, vol. 64, p. 263.

A reminder of who the Leftists/totalitarians, are:

Nazis, Communists, Socialists, Liberals, Progressives, Fascists, and Democrats.

Did I mention 'Democrats'?

It bears repeating: Democrats.

6. Capitalism isn't Fascism....but Crony Capitalism is.

As in Mussolini’s formula: “All within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.”

The intention was for big business to get bigger, and the little guy to be squeezed out: for example, the owners of the big chain movie houses wrote the codes that almost ran the independents out of business (even though 13,571 of the 18,321 movie theatres were independently owned). This in the name of ‘efficiency’ and ‘progress.’ Goldberg, “Liberal Fascism.”

On the darker side, government lending policy is perfect for favoritism, crony capitalism, 'picking winners' who don't 'win,' kickbacks and bribes. And, as every individual can stake a claim to government largesse, it is an iteration of socialism and communism: the underlying belief is the imperative of material equality. Then, there is this: the money is largely taken by taxation from the productive segments of society and placed in the hands of those less competent and/or less trustworthy.
Such is the design of the current government.
"Economics in One Lesson: The Shortest and Surest Way to Understand Basic Economics," by Henry Hazlitt

So there is no surprise when Big Tech and social media censored the Hunter Biden laptop stories to insure a Biden victory, there should neither be any surprise, nor any question that it is Fascism writ large.

Big Tech, Wall Street, Facebook, etc.....all allied with the Democrats.

That's Fascism.

Here's where we hold a mirror up to the Democrat Regime:

Compare that to Trump governing for the working man:

Trump's popularity is built on achievements, no media hype.

He actually governed to help real working Americans.

“…Trump discovered a new ethnic group who had lain hidden in our politics, unknown to the oddsmakers, consultants, pundits, and analysts in the news media and the political establishment: the white high-school graduate living in middle America. “Fly-over country,” the insiders sneered. The states that don’t matter, and the voters who don’t really count.

Hillary famously called them the “deplorables.” Obama mocked them, saying, “It’s not surprising, then, that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment, or anti- trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.”

Low wages, closing factories, shrinking towns, and shattered dreams were the grief that gripped these Americans. Illegal immigration that dragged down wages and created a class of working poor, ruinous and unfair competition with China, and trade deals that let Mexico steal our jobs—those were the grievances. And when Trump ripped up NAFTA, sanctioned China, and built a wall along the Southern border—those were the solutions.”
Dick Morris, “The Return”

Compare the above to what the Democrats have done since the stolen election.

This is a must-read before posting anything political:

-Guy Tugwell: (FDR Brain Trust) said of fascism: "It's the cleanest, neatest piece...of social machinery I've ever seen." ( page 11)

-McClures magazine: "Fascism is a 'great step forward' and the first new idea in govt' since the founding of the American Republic" ( page 28)

-John Patrick Duggins: Columbia University is "Fascism's veritable home in America and a school house for budding fascists ideologues." ( page 32)

-Nicholas Butler: (President of Columbia University) received a signed photo from Mussolini thanking him for his, "most valuable contribution to the promotion of understanding between Fascist Italy and the United States" ( page 29)

-James Farrell: (head of US Steel) Mussolini is the "greatest living man"

-H.G. Wells : called for "a 'Phoenix Rebirth' of Liberalism under the banner of Liberal Fascism" ( page 134)
[Like most Progressive thinkers of the era, Wells approved of the Leftist social reforms that swept Europe in the early years of the 20th century under the banners of the Fascists and Nazis, and he called, in a speech to the Young Liberals at Oxford in 1932, for a “‘Phoenix Rebirth’ of Liberalism,” a kind of “enlightened Nazism” that he proposed be called “Liberal Fascism.” He was a friend and admirer of FDR (who, before the war, shared Wells’ high opinion of Fascist ideals), and was a frequent visitor to the White House. The Forgotten H.G. Wells – Motus Mentis]

-Irving Louis Horowitz: "Fascism will return to the United States not as right wing ideology but almost as a quasi-leftist ideology" (page 198)

So then, if you were surprised to discover that American Democrats had a natural love affair with Communism, Socialism, and Fascism you have to wonder why. Was it due to your own failings or perhaps a liberal conspiracy in the schools and media to keep the information from you, or both.

In any case, if you are still tempted to imagine that the caring, biggov't programs you support could not possibly lead to the horrors of Mussolini, Hitler, and Stalin then you have to wonder how it is that Jefferson knew they would - 150 years earlier. What exactly did Jefferson know. Simple: he knew men and he knew human history. But, despite his wisdom, and the country he gave us base on that wisdom, the Democrats made the 20th Century the bloodiest of all centuries. Try to imagine what would be left of the world if Jeffersonian Republicans hadn't been there the whole time as the last best hope for freedom on earth.
