Too many public schools, specifically urban, have become top heavy with bullshit administration. They like to micromanage the principals who should really be the ones who run the schools and disperse their allocation of funds.

Too simplistic by half. Both parties "work against" teachers--the GOP by instilling too many regulations by legislation; the Dems doing it by dept regulation, ie, the Dept of Ed. Just different kinds of power control. Neither one listens to actual teachers. Both guilty.
