actually, when Katrina hit I owned a business at the time. ( had to close it down due to the rising costs shortly after Katrina hit)
But, we did go down with a tractor trailer full of bottled water. It was actually a fun road trip. We had to stop outside of N.0, they wouldnt let us into the flood areas, but they did send out transfer trucks to unload the water and bring it where it was needed.
cant afford to do that now. Cant remember but I think the fuel was a dollar or less for diesel at that time.
