Here are some excerpts from the latest Poll.

It is rather surprising to see these results from two left leaning sources. I would expect this from Fox News or the TEA party polls.

President Obama's job approval rating is just 43 percent now, down slightly from earlier this month and the lowest since March 2012. Forty-nine percent disapprove, the highest it has been in two years.

Positive assessments of the president's handling of the economy has also dropped five points in the last two weeks, to 41 percent now.

Just 40 percent approve of his handling of foreign policy, while 49 percent disapprove - the highest disapproval he has ever received on this measure.

Personal evaluations of the president are also down. Thirty percent say he cares a lot about people like themselves - the lowest level measured since he took office.

Just 29 percent of Americans think the country is headed in the right direction - down six points since July - while the percentage who says it is off on the wrong track has risen six points, from 60 percent in July to 66 percent today.

Most Americans continue to have a negative view of the condition of the national economy. Nearly two thirds say the economy is bad, including nearly one in four who says it is very bad.

It's not at all unexpected. And it's the desired result the Tea Party and Republicans were hoping to achieve.

Americans in general are unhappy with the petulant dog fights taking place in Congress.

However, the Republicans will pay for this if they shut down the government.

In 2014.

Not being sarcastic at all. I'm surprised the numbers are still that high.

The Democrats have a majority in the Senate and the Presidency. Any government shutdown will be caused by the failure of the majority.

Currnt Pew and CBS polls have the GOP popularity at half of Obama's.

Perspective is everything.

75 to 80% of America have no use for the Republican Party.

We have to get to work if we will have a chance in 2016.

It's hard for the obama kissing club to admit they voted for a POS loser. To do so would have to include an admission that they were stupid for voting for him, so, they just plod along trying to do their best to defend a complete BUFFOON.

It's not holding water though. Their talking points they're trying to float here that republicans will somehow suffer from their efforts to defend odumbocare are pure BULL SHIT. The law is INCREDIBLY unpopular, and if any party is going to suffer from this fight, it will be the ODUMBOCRATS.

The little leftards here with their marching order talking points and party line garbage just look DUMB.

"a majority of Americans (58 percent) see him as a strong leader"

"In his dealings with Congress in general and on key issues, the president fares better. He receives credit from about half of Americans for reaching across the aisle and trying to work with Republicans in Congress "

"However, far fewer Americans see Republicans in Congress reciprocating. Just 23 percent say they are trying to work with the president, and 70 percent say they are not."

"the President holds an advantage over the Republicans in Congress; more say they trust him to handle the economy (47-33 percent), health care (45-40 percent) and the budget deficit (44-38 percent). "

"Most Americans disapprove of the job both Republicans and Democrats in Congress are doing overall, but Republicans receive more criticism. Just 21 percent now approve, down from 25 percent over the summer. Approval ratings for the Democrats in Congress are also down by five points, to 31 percent.

After an uptick earlier this month, Congress' job approval rating is about where it has been for the last few years - just 14 percent approve, and four in five disapprove."

"Petulant"??? We have the most childish acting president in history.. giving the finger to Americans!
pouting because people can add and subtract which obviously Obama never mastered!
I mean this idiot keeps saying 46 million people need health insurance when 18 million say they don't!
14 million don't know they need only register with medicaid and 10 million of his 46 million are NOT CITIZENS!
To me more and more people are asking WHY when obama said premiums would in his words:
"I have made a solemn pledge that I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as president that will cover every American and cut the cost of a typical family's premiums by up to $2,500 a year." -Sources: Speech, "A Politics of Conscience," June 23, 2007

AND INSTEAD the average typical family's premiums HAVE
This candidate solemnly pledged on June 5, 2008: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year….. We’ll do it by the end of my first term as President of the United States.” Unfortunately, the experts working for Medicare’s actuary have (yet again[1]) reported that in its first 10 years, Obamacare will boost health spending by “roughly $621 billion” above the amounts Americans would have spent without this misguided law.

What this means for a typical family of four

$621 billion is a pretty eye-glazing number. Most readers will find it easier to think about how this number translates to a typical American family—the very family candidate Obama promised would see $2,500 in annual savings as far as the eye could see. So I have taken the latest year-by-year projections, divided by the projected U.S. population to determine the added amount per person and multiplied the result by $7,450 per family of 4.

So yea... Obama is the most arrogant, pompous President who WANTED high gas prices, companies to bankrupt and
jobs to be destroyed! He has said so!
