Leprosy Cases Are Emerging In Los Angeles County

Leprosy has always been here.
But not in Los Angeles. Jesus Christ...we are medically devolving back to biblical times.
What would it take to get the attention of leftists and California politicians?
A plague of frogs? The reemergence of the Black Death?

Historical leprosy is not the same as modern leprosy. The “leprosy” found in historical and religious texts described a variety of skin conditions from rashes and patchy skin to swelling. They were noted to be very contagious, which is not true for Hansen’s disease and also did not have some of the most obvious signs of Hansen’s disease, like disfigurement, blindness, and loss of pain sensation. The term was also used for mildew on a person’s clothes, possessions or living quarters.

and then this bit of info on LEPOSY in 'Puerto rico' . --- CAB Direct --- might be old but just some info up to about the late 60s but I will look for more Coyote .

We are expanding urban areas out into former wildlife habitat and wildlife is becoming increasingly urbanized. When diseases like leprosy are carried in wildlife populations we could well see increases in urban sprawl.

oh well , I just heard some practical people saying , hey . its only 'los angeles' . NOW Fight the Stigma of having leprosy says this guy and his Armadillo wife eh . :afro:

Leprosy Could Be The Next Public Health Crisis To Hit Los Angeles

Leprosy has always been here.

Three leprosy cases confirmed in Florida

Florida is Republican. In case you did not know.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there are approximately 100 new cases of leprosy each year, and most are seen in southern statesincluding Texas, Louisiana and Florida. Between 1994 and 2011 there were just over 2,300 new cases of leprosy diagnosed in the U.S.
You think 100% of Floridians call themselves "Republican"? There are also many LIBERALS who are Republican -- far too many

The best way to avoid leprosy brought in by foreigners is not to let the foreigners in, in the first place.

Miyagi say: "Best defense, no be there, Daniel-san."

That's what happens in Democrat run cities...DemRats are experts in bringing back to life Medieval diseases.

in other words

Vote Democrat and get leprosy....so to speak

This is rhetorical question. Did anybody, Democrat, Independent or ya know, Republican ever remember when we were asked IF WE wanted to give illegal aliens (stealing jobs and so on and so forth), sanctuary? From valid and fair federal immigration laws? The same laws past immigrants followed? When did that happen? I missed that. I didn't miss the fact that the entire American job scape in the last 30 years has been turned on its ear and NOBODY but NOBODY (save the rich white elite) actually had a say in it. Sanctuary cities, same thingy. NOBODY got to vote on THAT, it was never an option. Why? Because...look over there, Russians tampering with the polls!

That would be true if disease was present in wildlife areas. That's not true. The disease vectors are in the inner city. Skid row isn't urban sprawl.

The diseased might not recognize evidence of leprosy. The effects of krokodil are the same or worse.

This is what diversity brings...divisiveness. Disease. Poverty, overcrowding and a plethora of other negative shit. A Pandora's box of unforetold consequences that our supreme overlords, the white rich elitist Liberal fascist dictators on the left side anti rationalist haven't figured out yet. Its why us dweebs voted for Trump, you nitwits. Its backlash against everything liberal...Get it through your thick imbecilic skulls, Trump was the lesser of two evils...And yes, that's sad, but that's not on me. Its on all of us...

Interesting development. Maybe this will be an opportunity for the Trump Organization to open up 5 star leper colonies to offer tremendous service to folks with the disease?
There are no leprosy colonies in the continental US. One still exist on an island in Hawaii with 6 patients. With effective antibiotic treatments available, 95% of the population being immune, and the disease so hard to catch there is no need for confinement.

lots of imported 'puerto rican island people' that have sadly and recently in the last couple of years moved into 'florida' Coyote
Puerto Ricans are not imports, they are citizens.

But from the liberal point of view antibiotics might cause birth defects in speckled newts which come in contact with humans so must be outlawed.

If you bothered to read the article in the link, you will see that the author is not reporting any new cases of leprosy. Further, the Reuters report addresses worldwide leprosy, not leprosy in California. The author speculates that there could be a leprosy problem in California but offers no evidence to support his speculation. According to the CDC, there are approximately 100 to 150 cases of confirmed leprosy reported each year in the US and there is no upward trend in reported cases. Trying to tie an increase in number of cases of leprosy, which does not exist to immigration is a stretch at best and an outright fabrication at worst.
