In what looks to be murder/suicide, two lesbian marrieds, Jennifer & Sarah Hart from the Northwest drove their car off a cliff into the ocean. 3 of the 6 adopted kids' bodies & 2 adults found. 3 kids still missing & presumed dead.

Wearing seat belts is the law in California- and I have never knowingly had any kids driving in the car without seatbelts fastened.

Most kids are better at buckling up then their parents- they get it drilled into them- I think that is a sign of something very off.

I get that to a point, but there are a lot of cases where someone decided to kill innocents then suicide. Happens a lot in couples who are separated and headed for divorce. It's like they are trying punish the other and innocent kids get caught up in it

Yep- its been years but I can remember when a family friend in a custody battle did just that- took their kid off and killed himself and the kid.

There is a slight chance that this was accidental- looking at photo's if there was a wild coincidence of brakes failing at just the wrong time this could be accidental.

But odds are that this was intentional- again more likely by the driver solo but possibly with both women in on it.

Tragedy for the kids- and also hell for the police and rescue people who have to risk their own safety and sanity recovering the bodies of the kids.

Except there isn't. The link in the OP doesn't even mention parents. That is a suggestion that gay couples might have more domestic violence between each other than straight couples.

I already provided you with citations showing that boyfriends of single mom's have a far higher incidence of child abuse than others.

This is something I can't understand. WHY would you kill your kids? I can understand the disturbances that go on in postpartum depression - but these weren't that. How could you kill all those beautiful kids??? And I'm guessing they are all dead...my heart breaks for them

I don't understand why the police were not called. Our home is a safe home, we have the sign in our front window and if a child is in danger they know they will be safe here. We're required to call the police if a child asks us for help. Common sense should tell someone if it happens call the police
