Lesbian mayor loses fight over 'transgender' ordinance

That's what they get for electing a lesbian. They should have known that the first thing she was going to do was subpoena sermons.

Ordinances don't have the force of Law either. Laws are passed by State Legislatures and signed by Governors. I'm not a big fan of State Propositions either but that's another thread.

These guys got tough sledding ahead to as if I'm not mistaken, the Texas State Legislature only meets for a few months every two years?

My guess is the city council was for the most part intimidated into endorsing this.

Who wants to go on record as opposing homosexuals or transgenders? :dunno:
Certainly not in this day and age of Liberal intimidation, coercion, and shaming of opinion and free speech.

Subpoenaed Church sermons?

The bullshit that Liberals get away with these days is horrific and nauseating.
