Let me get this straight, liberals......

They're still pretending they didn't shut down the government? I would love to visit the planet these idiots live on just once.

Welcome to earth, moonbat. why don't you try to answer the questions:

1. what would give the GOP in the house the authority to shut down the govt?
2. what was the HR number of the bill that they voted on to shut it down?
3. how was that bill put into effect without a senate vote and a POTUS signature?
4. Who ordered the barricades at monuments and parks?
5. who issued lay off notices to civil servants?

face it Fluke, obama ordered the shutdown because he is too incompetent to do his job and negotiate a compromise. It will happen again early next year---watch.

Your utter naive assessment is epic.

When you introduce a bill with a poison pill (repealing Obamacare), you're doing so in hopes the measure will pass but knowing full well it's not likely.

Again, the GOP tried strongarm tactics and got their ass handed to them which is why you sound like the flaming idiot you are.

Typical of todays Republican

Total inability to accept responsibility for your own actions. It is not the Republicans....it is Obama, the media, uninformed voters, greed. All conspiring against Republicans

Republicans took a long shot and thought they could bully the President with the threat of a shutdown. Then they thought they could really bully him with the threat of a default

They lost big time

spoken as into obama's 2nd term he is still blaming bush and the republicans :eusa_whistle:

typical libtard response when presented with facts. insult the other person and say something juvenile.

your concession is accepted. :eusa_whistle:

You presented questions; not facts.

Your misunderstanding of English is evident :eusa_whistle:

OK, fluke. answer the questions and then we can move on.

1. The resolution they passed had a poison pill in it. Since the bill didn't fund the government and that is the purview of the House, the House didn't do it's job.
2. See #1
3. Non-starter
4. Not sure. Maybe you can produce an order to erect those barricades and we can see who signed it?
5. Not sure again...maybe you can produce the document?

IOW, you admit that RF is right. The House passed a bill funding the gov't. The Senate refused to consider it. Obama declared he would veto it.
The executive branch is overseen by the president. He is ultmately responsible, desptie what Sebelius says. He is responsible for the shut down.
If you have some evidence to the contrary, produce it. Show us the bill the Democrats introduced to fund the gov't.

Translation: I've been left in the dust looking like the ignorant carpet-muncher I am.

The main problem with our media is that they are too "fair" with Republicans. Much like a coach who constantly harps at the refs for calling fouls against him....the Republicans harp at the media

The media isn't fair. The media blames us. The media favors the other side

As a result, the media is soft on the Republicans. They do not hold them responsible for their actions

The Republicans have gridlocked Congress
The Republicans shut down the government to kill Obamacare
The Republicans threatened to default on our debt
The Republicans use crisis after crisis to get their way

But the media spreads the blame......Congress rather than Republicans

Until Republicans pay a price for their actions they will continue

You claim the media is too soft on Republicans and too fair to Republicans??:eusa_whistle: :cuckoo: Yeah, that is why they blamed Republicans 41 times for the partial shutdown, and Democrats zero times. You should read Bernard Goldberg's book: "Bias", he proves the liberal bias in the media. He's worked in the media for decades, he's not a conservative, he's a objective liberal. The NY Times admitted they have a liberal bias:

THE PUBLIC EDITOR - Is The New York Times a Liberal Newspaper? - NYTimes.com

The media is not too soft on Republicans, but they do get hard over every Democrat.

As for who is to blame, just remember who it was that said they would not negotiate...Obama. And wasn't it Harry Reid who refused to keep the funding going for kids with cancer, even though this was an individual? Yep...Democrats putting the collective over the individual like always...yeah..they sure care about children. And of course, Democrats refused a clean resolution that gave them everything they wanted, except they had to be part of the same Obamacare they forced down the throats of America.

The media blamed the republicans 41 times because the republicans were to blame.
Being fair is not spreading the blame equally. Being fair is letting the public know what their representatives are doing.

So, this reply is the best you can do? You have offered nothing of fact or substance to counter the facts I have provided. You really believe a media, which is 90% registered Democrat to be objective?? You clearly have no concept of the definition of fair, do you? A fair, non-biased objective media would rationalize that the commander in chief who repeatedly stated he won't compromise is clearly part of the problem. An objective media would take issue with how Democrats refused to pass a clean resolution that required congress all the way up to the president to be enrolled in Obamacare.

The job of the media is to promote and protect Democrats and their agenda. I have provided facts with which you completely failed to address. Your problem is you are too much of an extremist hack to realize you are an extremist hack, and radical leftist extremist hacks are exactly what are in the media you perceive to be too soft and fair to Republicans. Only the most extreme of extremist left-wing hacks would think the media is too soft and fair to Republicans. Anyone who thinks along these lines would make Karl Marx look like he's to the right of Pat Buchanan.

Somebody who has no idea what is in the purview of the two houses of congress should not be calling anybody names. I'd think a remedial civics class would be in order. The only bill that is constitutionally required to originate in the house is one raising revenue. Simple funding bills can be originated in either house.

Facts?

The media is biased for Republicans because they only blamed them 41 times. They should have blamed them EVERY time. But no, they allowed themselves to be bullied by Republicans whimpering.....The media is biased against us NOT FAIR

The media covers for Republicans by claiming the problem is Congress when clearly the reason for continual gridlock in Congress is the Republicans

Rabbi is a liar. Lies by omission are as mendacious as lies of commission. Maybe that's too abstract for Rabbi, but ignorance is no defense.

In fact I doubt very much ignorance played a part in his post, since much of what the Right Wing (RW) Fringe whines about is - at the very best - a bubble shy of a half-truth. A fact out of context framed solely in partisan rhetoric, and usually only an echo of what the RW propaganda machine has produced.

Do you have anything substantive here, or just the same old shit that is always fact-free?
The truth is as I laid it out. The GOP passed many funding measures and Reid killed them all before obama could veto them.
Do you maintain that is not what happened? Do you lvie in some alt. universe?

Only a liar or a complete idiot blames Obama for the shutdown. Of course being one does not preclude the other.

You appear to be the cop-per here. Who gives orders to the Parks Dept? To whom is that dept ultimately responsible?
Hint: It isn't John Boehner.
