Good luck with that; you will lose that argument as well. the only 'revisionists' are you lying spammers and your fake revisionist history about the civil war. the North solved its 'freed black' problem by killing off hundreds of thousands of them in 'property camps' and after the war preventing any big exodus of them north.

If elements of the civil war bother you so much, then you ought to simply avoid visiting them, but have enough respect for your fellow man not to impose your values on others by force, and find something useful enough to do with your life other than create and escalate a rather useless, pointless "war" over a matter settled 153 years ago as if we have nothing more important to worry about, but if you really have nothing better to do with your life than to pick a fight and beat people's heads in or get yours beat in over a statue in a park, then perhaps you ought to do it soon to relieve the earth of the burden of caring for all your dumb asses so that the normal, sane people can get on with the business of the world.

Having a rally to present your beliefs imposes nothing on anyone. It's merely people's 1st amendment right. If you don't like their views, just walk away and don't listen. But I wonder, has the city truly considered the wishes and desires of all its people? That "property" belongs to them, not the city council. It belongs to history, to the nation. Once gone, the statue is forever gone. And its removal solves nothing. OTOH, planning an opposition rally to shout down, disrupt, even physically violently oppose another group having an otherwise peaceful rally, isn't THAT where we cross the slippery slope of forcing one's will over others? There can be no violence without TWO sides. If the city is already committed to the removal of the statue, then to those who would violently protest the white supremacists, what's the point? Usually, there is some value and truth to ALL sides.

Quick question that should clear things up for you. Did the free white labor have to worry about their children automatically being denied freedom?

Moot point; most of them couldn't afford children, while nearly all slaves could. Slaves had a guaranteed living and health care. Most 'free white labor' starved in winter, economic slumps, died in droves in the frequent disease epidemics that swept slums, had shorter life spans and shorter average heights than slaves due to chronic malnutrition. Child mortality rates were higher than among slaves when they did have children. And, we know blacks have never had a thing against slavery, in Africa nor in the U.S.
