Lets remember WHY Charlottesville rally happened to begin with

I've never seen a Black confederate photo that hasnt been proven as false including the ones you just posted where some are obviously not even soldiers.

Youre obviously a idiot. One of the pictures even says its a union solider.

You can always tell when their lying because they wont have the links.

Oh, but I have the links, boy.

You can tell the Union from Confederate by the buttons. Union is buttons straight down the middle, Confederate is double-breasted. ;)

Anyway I found this, and I'm getting pretty tired.

Look I can't help it that you're so pigheaded you can't bear that you've been proven wrong on a message board. That ain't my problem -- it's yours.

And no, Jeff Davis didn't "found the Confederacy".

If Jefferson Davis was a Democrat, and a Confederate, therefor nothing is wrong about what I said what-so-ever.

You're a kook, a retard, and OCD nitpicker.
The Confederacy was founded by delegates from Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida, meeting in Montgomery, February 1861. Not by "Jefferson Davis".

Without Jefferson Davis being the first President of the Confederacy, there would've been no Confederacy, so absolutely he played a role in founding the Confederacy.

Just as George Washington had a role in founding America, even though he didn't found, nor sign the Declaration of Independence.

As usual, you seem to have massive OCD nitpicking problems.
Without Jefferson Davis, they would have elected someone else. You aren't very good at this U.S. History stuff. Davis wasn't even all that thrilled he got picked.

You're not very good at being a Human.

Jefferson Davis still none the less played a role in founding the Confederacy, just like George Washington played a role in founding the U.S.A.
Yes he did...but that's not what you said....you stated that "Without Jefferson Davis being the first President of the Confederacy, there would've been no Confederacy..." That is simply not true. There still would have been a con-federacy....still losing...it would have just had someone else be their President. ( I wonder if THAT guy would have tried to escape Richmond dressed as a woman too...:eusa_think: )

My ideology?
Hardly, The Southerners brought in Negroes like you, hardly anything I'd support.

This is the reason most white nationalists hate southern plantation owners and love the white nationalist Lincoln; the vast majority of the abolitionists in the North wanted to send them all back to Africa, no exceptions. Northerners were far more racist than southerners, and still are; they just make a lot of hypocritical noises trying to cover up that fact.

But the side who won ended slavery --- but if you want to say that the northern whites were more racist than the southern whites -- enjoy that

......However, its still the Southern whites who are still trying to revise history and make the claim that slavery wasn't so bad..what a bunch of sore losers -- the South lost deal with it

You just showed me another opinion piece instead of an official military listing of Black soilders or even photos of Black confederate solders that fought for the south.

scholars and focusing on sources written or published during the war, I estimate that between 3,000 and 6,000 served as Confederate soldiers. Another 100,000 or so blacks, mostly slaves, supported the Confederacy as laborers, servants and teamsters. They built roads, batteries and fortifications; manned munitions factories—essentially did the Confederacy’s dirty work.
See this is where your theory falls down. If they have military records why cant anyone find them? They have the records of white soilders that fought for the south. Where are the Black ones?

There's some Black Confederate pictures out there.

Anyway I found this, and I'm getting pretty tired.

http://www.scv.org/documents/genworks/RoleofBlacksConfederateArmy.pdf
You should be tired of getting caught lying. Now you have resorted to giving us another opinion piece eh?

You want to argue tht black slaves had it worse than 'free' white labor? Good luck with that; you will lose that argument as well. the only 'revisionists' are you lying spammers and your fake revisionist history about the civil war. the North solved its 'freed black' problem by killing off hundreds of thousands of them in 'property camps' and after the war preventing any big exodus of them north.

If elements of the civil war bother you so much, then you ought to simply avoid visiting them, but have enough respect for your fellow man not to impose your values on others by force, and find something useful enough to do with your life other than create and escalate a rather useless, pointless "war" over a matter settled 153 years ago as if we have nothing more important to worry about, but if you really have nothing better to do with your life than to pick a fight and beat people's heads in or get yours beat in over a statue in a park, then perhaps you ought to do it soon to relieve the earth of the burden of caring for all your dumb asses so that the normal, sane people can get on with the business of the world.

If the people of this country had the wherewithal to spend even half as much effort working together on common causes rather than fighting each other on stupid and useless ones, we could end suffering, poverty and all be leading much better lives.

Worthy thoughts. Recalling (finally) the topic of this thread.

As I noted in my first post here,"why Charlottesville happened" was a bunch of jagoffs from out of town waddling in to Charlottesville to, as you put it, "impose their values by force" on a city that had already decided what to do with its own property. Including the David Dukes and Richard Spencers and other "very fine people", come in to start some shit.

Good to see you're on the right side on this one.

Having a rally to present your beliefs imposes nothing on anyone. It's merely people's 1st amendment right. If you don't like their views, just walk away and don't listen. But I wonder, has the city truly considered the wishes and desires of all its people? That "property" belongs to them, not the city council. It belongs to history, to the nation. Once gone, the statue is forever gone. And its removal solves nothing. OTOH, planning an opposition rally to shout down, disrupt, even physically violently oppose another group having an otherwise peaceful rally, isn't THAT where we cross the slippery slope of forcing one's will over others? There can be no violence without TWO sides. If the city is already committed to the removal of the statue, then to those who would violently protest the white supremacists, what's the point? Usually, there is some value and truth to ALL sides.

When will public officials start having sane discussions with their communities over common values and priorities rather than kowtowing to every populist mob whim? I know: when we start getting a few sane public officials.

Quick question that should clear things up for you. Did the free white labor have to worry about their children automatically being denied freedom?

Is that why so many of the statues had labels talking about the white race?

No.

Are you denying that slavery was a settled issue by 19 fucking 16?
Evidently not

The South will rise again was still drawing support. The KKK came back stronger than ever

Ok. Now support your argument, that there was a serious move to re institute slavery, and that the statues were part of it.

In 19 fucking 16.

lol!!!!
Jim Crow, vagrancy laws, and involuntary share cropping.

Sharecropping earned a certain black man I know of 160 acres. Do you have 160 acres, Bodey? My family did, now a black man's offspring do. That's a good thing. :)

There was never any slavery or anything like that. In fact, those ways were common not that long ago.

Even if they didn't want the land, they still got 20-40 acres out back and a house for years of working.

How many people did he have to sue to get that 160 mythical acres?

No.

None, dumbass. Niggas that sue don't want acreage they have to work, derp! He started out with 80 for a "retirement" and bought the other 2 40-acre plots from neighbors. This is real black people here, not some chump looking fer a 'suit.

Translation "Biff stop blowing up our racist talking points, its a real downer"

It's really important to Biff that we all keep in mind he's retarded at all times. Thanks to you all in advance for making Biff feel at home here.

Now fuck off and die, pls.
Um....where's their race listed. Let's remember...for the most part, black people in the South had no last names.

BTW.... I like all of them listed as "laborer"....if they were black, you just proved what I said....that they were used to dig trenches and other earthworks....not fight.
as usual you make no sense, and still can't stay on topic, especially since you lose every single argument.

lol @ 'no last names!' Where did you get that rubbish? no wonder your Party is losing badly all across the board in the elections; with your ilk out here stumping for it, it's bound to crash and burn very fast.

Only white people could make involuntary sharecropping a "good thing". SMDH.

Wasn't nothin' involuntary with my family.

There were black crackers up North, too.

Still kinda south of the Suwanee, though. ;)

You mad a real black man took his 80 acres and turned it into 160, or what?

It would be 240, but a certain 80 of it was spoken for. 40 for my family's cemetary.

160 acres is plenty to work, IMO.

Slavery was better; just ask those freed slaves who went back to Africa and started Liberia, and set themselves up as slave plantation owners as soon as they set foot back in 'Da Homey Land'.

None, dumbass. Niggas that sue don't want acreage they have to work, derp! He started out with 80 for a "retirement" and bought the other 2 40-acre plots from neighbors. This is real black people here, not some chump looking fer a 'suit.

ya, sure.

I dont have to ask anyone. I heard all the stories from my grandparents about slavery and the time afterwards already. So much so I know youre full of shit as usual.

It was because leftist Anti Americans wanted to destroy and forget history they disagreed with and wanted done away with, much like Al Qaeda and ISIS did in areas they controlled...destroy monuments and historical documents etc. The leftists wanted to remove and destroy a statue of General Lee..the riots, deaths, violence ALL fall on their heads. They started the war and WE will finish it. This is a war have no doubt about that and we will win this war or we will die trying.
We remember. It’s because bigoted nazis feel emboldened.

You want to argue that black slaves had it worse than 'free' white labor? Good luck with that; you will lose that argument as well. the only 'revisionists' are you lying spammers and your fake revisionist history about the civil war.
Quick question that should clear things up for you. Did the free white labor have to worry about their children automatically being denied freedom?

Moot point; most of them couldn't afford children, while nearly all slaves could. Slaves had a guaranteed living and health care. Most 'free white labor' starved in winter, economic slumps, died in droves in the frequent disease epidemics that swept slums, had shorter life spans and shorter average heights than slaves due to chronic malnutrition. Child mortality rates were higher than among slaves when they did have children. And, we know blacks have never had a thing against slavery, in Africa nor in the U.S.
