I find it strange that this couple, who have been together for over 40 years, at each others side through thick and thin, sickness and in health, shouldn't be allowed to get married simply because they are gay. But a straight couple who has known each other for five minutes should be permitted to marry because their union is somehow 'sacred'.

I know which relationship I have more faith in.
