Limiting access to abortion would make the problem even more horrifying.

I hate abortion. It has always been a very grey and uncomfortable topic for me. I wish it wasn't a thing. That being said it is a thing, and in our culture it is generally seen as something people should have access to. You think it's bad now? Wait until people have less options. You want more back-alley abortions? More dead babies in public trash cans? That's what will happen when less and less people have the means to go to a local clinic and get a legal abortion.

I would support government-funded abortion in exchange for loss of the right to give birth (mandatory irreversible tubal ligation and vasectomy of the parents). That's a whole lot cheaper than paying for a welfare kid for the rest of its worthless life.
