I agree that the democratic policies are wrong-headed but they also contradict other aspects of their platform. You cannot double wages without increasing consumption and carbon output in an economy as large as ours. You cannot spend a trillion dollars on "new infrastructure" and not destroy natural habitat. And you sure as hell cannot have 24/7 power nationwide with renewable energy unless you plan on burning forests and trash which is even worse than burning coal.

TBH, when taking their policies as a whole, if all enacted, it would be an anarchist's wet dream of a platform.

That doesn't mean I will support the devil republicans though because they are, well devils.

You cannot raise taxes to give Washington DC more $$$. That’s like giving more $$$ to a dope addict.

Sadly, I have to agree with you. The democratic party is failing the poor and homeless in many cases. We should be building homes for them and offering free college and jobs programs for them.

While total renewable is not possible at the moment but we are getting better and better. Denmark has more renewable (wind mainly) than non renewable.. Europe are setting ambitious targets and believe this type of technology will be part of new economy, new type of manufacturing.
Trump would say they are robbing US jobs, but are they? US loves nothing more than develop a piece of tech and give it to the Chinese to build. then bitch and complain when they copy it.

Thing of it this way... US could buy tanks and bombs to fight human enemies or invest in renewable and battery tech to fight for our planet...

It is the law of diminishing returns...plus the merchant tail on these contracts are getting shorter which means the providers are more interested in more pricey spot market sales as opposed to generating base load power.

You correctly note the inability of the left to consider even the most likely consequences of their policies but evidently you still prefer those which even you admit will tear the US apart and/or enslave us ... the gun-confiscating, abortion-loving, open borders demanding, socialism spewing, impeachment-in-lieu-of-election-victories policies of their candidates to date.

I voted for the Green Party and probably will again. I don't think we are any threat to to you gun-toting, abortion-hating, money laundering, election-rigging devils.
