Anti-gun loons are just that: Anti-gun

Their objective: to ensure the state has a monopoly on force - which they know cannot happen so long as the citizenry remains armed.
The mean to their end is to make it as hard as possible for the law abiding to exercise their right to keep and bear arms - hopefully to the point where they stop trying.

This premise is supported, of not proven by the laws they seek, supposednly in the name of saving lives, reducing violence, etc -- they are unnecessary, ineffective, and serve only to restrict the law abiding.

Because of this, there is no reason to give them even an inch.
