If you're going to shutter plants in the United States and build electric cars in China to sell in the United States, they can pay a tariff on those cars and lose the tax subsidy to buyers in the United States. He can take that straight to the people as we lose the jobs one way or another.

Mary is already sweating bullets. She offered to try to move the workers to other plants around the country but that's not going to fly. Imagine being laid off, offered a job a thousand miles away not knowing how long that job may last? The solution is retooling the plants to build more popular models. If sedans aren't selling anymore, why hasn't anybody told Toyota that...they've building and selling thousands of them. GM has to take it's medicine and stay put...they're very profitable at the moment for one reason....we bailed them out.
