Now this is what Frankie boi's site gave me. Your site says something else. Guess we have to find a referee site.

What's that have to with the entire month not going above 10F all month during your "record heatwave"?
Oh yeah, it says the heat wave is BS.
North Pole 50 degrees warmer than normal on Christmas ?
Gee according to OldRocks the North Pole is on Prince Patrick Island. The rest of the world thinks it`s north of Ellesmere Island which is way north of Prince Patrick Island. And Mould Bay Airport is at the southern part of Prince Patrick Island to boot:

And there was no heat wave before, during and after Christmas:
CFS Alert - Past 24 Hour Conditions - Environment Canada
It was -27 C the last time I checked....not 50 degrees above normal.
But that`s all the alarmists have.
Nothing but sensational forecasts that don`t materialize.
Just like all their pal-reviewed doomsday model forecasts
How often did they ridicule record cold temperatures as just a "cold day in Wasa wasa" like here:

This is not just "a cold day in Wasawasa" like the warm.org blogs like to call it...it`s a world wide climate event that spans the entire winter
...See what I mean...and now these freaks spend all their time looking for a Wasawasa warm spot...and that includes the media from where they get this "information" as well...Talk about hypocrisy !!!

Where's the 50 degree surge

Less than a week after US President Barack Obama and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau came together to block drilling in the Arctic and the Atlantic oceans, the Arctic experienced record high temperatures for the second time in as many months.

Temperatures spiked in the days leading up to Christmas, the BBC reports, with Christmas Eve reportedly experiencing temperatures 20 degrees Celsius above average. On Dec. 22, temperatures at the North Pole pushed up above the freezing point, highly unusual for this time of year, given the average winter temperature at the North Pole is around -40 degrees Fahrenheit.

Not quite freezing mark ... Santa's booze will stay chill up at the North Pole.
20s °F is still mild for the top of the world.

11:30 AM - 20 Dec 2016

Before the Industrial Revolution, “a heatwave like this would have been extremely rare,” Dr. Friederike Otto, a senior researcher at Oxford's Environmental Change Institute, told the BBC. “We would expect it to occur about every 1,000 years.”

But now, given unprecedented melting of sea ice, the Arctic has experienced record-breaking temperatures in consecutive months. In November, temperatures in the Arctic were 36 degrees Fahrenheit above normal.

Likewise, last year saw a massive heatwave hit the Arctic near Christmas, with temperatures nearing the freezing point in late December.

Arctic Sea Ice News and Analysis | Sea ice data updated daily with one-day lag

As you can see by the graph, the warmth of the last couple of weeks has actually led to a decrease in ice extent. In the last part of December. And this is the fourth time this year we have seen these conditions.
What "warmth"?
Where ever the increase in ice flat lined, you stupid ass.

The "Warmth" at -16F, that "warmth"?

How's that 50 degree surge today?
By your own site;

Arctic Weather Map

I can't help but notice that there is no data station close to the pole...so any claim of temperature there is simply made up...Looking at the stations around the pole, I see far more very cold stations that those above normal..which would lead one to wonder first and foremost about the placement of the warmer stations.

I don't know... would you like several trillion of your tax dollars used to relocate the people currently occupying our coastlines?

tell me you idiot...how quickly do you expect this onrush of water at the coast?...considering that the rate of sea level rise has slowed....

And why the hell would any of the rest of us pay a penny to relocate anyone?...I don't live on a fault line...or in a flood plain....or on the coast...people choose to live where they live and should deal with the consequences of those choices....libtards think everyone should pay for the bad choices some make...how stupid is that?

Freakishly warm weather hits North Pole days before Christmas

Santa's elves were likely a bit warm this week during final Christmas preparations.

Temperatures at the North Pole soared to the melting point of 32 degrees Thursday, according to data from a nearby weather buoy. That might not sound balmy, but it's some 40 to 50 degrees above average at what's typically an unimaginably cold, pitch-black point in mid-winter.

In fact, the average winter temperature at the North Pole is about 40 degrees below zero, the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution said.

Who to believe, Comrade Frankie boi, or Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute.
