A municipal police agency endorsing a federal politician? Why? It appears New York is broke, do they and their union have any ideas for getting New York back on track economically?

I know in Toronto, the city is desperate for money, over $1 BILLION short. The number 1 budget item by far for the city...Toronto Police Services. We hear the same broken record every budget, as the city is broke, poverty is everywhere, Tent Cities are set up, and the rich get richer in the budget. It's an insult to humanity and good leadership. The best talent leave for a reason.

Rust Belt and Battle Ground States are interested in jobs. The economy is where Trump gets his highest ratings, so he should focus on it. There is a reason Harris made up the joke that Trump is ruining Obamas economy That's comedy gold and Trump should call it out.

On Law and Order Trump can get hurt, especially as Harris hard line attitude as AG is HURTING her with black voters. So he just needs to be smart, not overdo it. Trump isn't going to win New York, so he should call out failures, but not overly focus on their interests in an election season, they are far different than the interests of vital states he needs to win.

Companies want protection from abusive China, regulations, the ability to engage in fracking and other capitalist pursuits, not the Green New Deal, it's costs and decimation of vital U.S industry (many of which, you are now global leaders in).

Politically Trumps ace in the hole is China, it's why they are trying to make good on purchases of U.S produce in the short term, they don't want to be the star in the debates. They know it hurts them when Trump focuses on them, and, it helps Trump. Again, I question the timing and source of the Wuhan Virus.

Does anyone here Biden or Harris talk tough about China? Their silence and the belief they will be weak on them like Obama, is heard loud and clear by critical voters I'm sure. It's such a vital issue at a time when the world is understanding the threat they pose, that the more Trump calls them out, the more he divides the Dems. Half of which, probably love China and support them at all costs, the other half becoming more sober on the threat.

So, these endorsements can't hurt, but in the case of New York, I don't see how they help.

You do realize this is mainly because they are unable to write off all their property taxes. That hurt the "rich" across the country as well as some in big cities and liberal states, because their taxes are far, far too high in the first place. The Democrats tax the middle class to death in these states and they hope to get relief from the feds in the form of a write-off. One would think that would have rang a bell in their tiny little heads years ago that they were getting screwed by their state, but they didn't seem to realize it until Trump decreased the limit in the write-off. To top it off, many of them blamed Trump for decreasing their write-offs vs blaming their own elected officials for having such ridiculous taxes in the first place.

BTW, this just further proves the 2018 tax cuts did not really help the "rich". I live in a red state where property taxes are very reasonable, however, I own enough property to where I am affected by the 2018 "cuts". I pay more in taxes now because I am unable to write off all my property taxes.
