Midterm results don't really bother me much

Imagine if the RNC actually had a backbone; the libs would go zombie time.

Whatever they got it's both houses and an inside rail to the top job....if they earn it!! The election is soooooooooooooooooo yesterday!!!

So who's the option if Hillary doesn't run?

Greg

I just checked that first one and here is what I found. If Hagan is a 'blue dog' Democrat, I will eat my computer.

"Hagan Voted With Obama 96% Of The Time In 2013.

Hagan Voted With Obama 96% Of The Time In 2012

Hagan Voted With Obama 90% Of The Time In 2011.

Hagan Voted With Obama 95% Of The Time In 2010.

Hagan Voted With Obama 96% Of The Time In 2009."

(Source: Congressional Quarterly)

BACKGROUND: HAGAN IS A LOYAL FOOT SOLIDER FOR BARACK OBAMA AND HARRY REID

“The president is always welcome to come to North Carolina and campaign with me.” -Kay Hagan (Associated Press, 3/21/14)

“I continue to work with the president and meet with him regularly.” -Kay Hagan (The Chronicle, 3/26/14)

“Harry Reid is our leader, and I certainly do support Harry. And I have a huge race going on right now, and I will be victorious. And I will be back next year. And we can talk all about that then.” -Kay Hagan (Politico, 4/3/2014)

Link?

Obama doesn't vote, so I don't know what they are using to measure that.

The link is after each and every one of those comments, i.e. (Source: Congressional Quarterly)

The term 'Voted With' is accepted by all but the brain dead as meaning bills that Obama also proposed and/or supported.

It was pretty much in keeping with history. No Liberals were voted out, only Republican-Lite in states that Obama didn't win, anyway, except for CO.

LA

All of these Senators/Candidates were Blue Dog Democrats who ran from Obama and his policies, which is why they lost.

OTOH, Jeane Shaheen embraced Obama and his policies and won.

So it's not a repudiation of Obama in any way. It's a repudiation of Democrats trying to distance themselves from all the success of the Obama terms, in an effort to endear themselves to wingnuts, while alienating their base.

HaHa, another fake looking "red" map. There's a lot of blue mixed in there, Dopey...

Before calling me 'dopey,' sugar queen, consider this:

1) That map is a congressional heat map, which shows all 435 congressional seats that were up on election night. This link will show a map identical to the one in that picture. It is far from fake, as it is a depiction of the kind of reality that slapped you and your liberal friends in the face when the polls closed. Deal with it.

2) There is some blue in there, but over 90 percent of the country elected a Republican to congress, which is why you see more red than blue.

3) Republicans gained 12 more seats in Congress, which gave them the biggest majority since World War II.

4) Including a rout in the Senate and House, Republicans gained three state governorships in Arkansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, and Illinois, the latter three were previously held by Democrats. The Republicans now control 31 of 50 statehouses.

Yeah, you know when you've won when your lesser starts calling you names. You really don't handle losing well at all, do you?

Only an idiot and a complete dupe would call Mary Landrieu "republican-lite'.

If you can't get over this, you need to buy a great Louisiana product:

th
She's a conservative Democrat.
No such thing as a conservative Democrat anymore. Or a Blue Dog Democrat. They are all Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi Democrats. They refused to stand up to their party leaders and instead bought the party line and supported them, being told Obamacare would insure their electoral victories.
How did that work out?

Wrong again, TK. The country has not gone "Red". I am not a sore loser, I just hate the way you Dopes are trying to exaggerate the win. You won congress, not the country and most of the wins were already in red states.

Republicans deepened their control of the House …

It was never really in question that Republicans would maintain control of the House and likely gain seats — they've ended up gaining at least 10 — but there are still some surprises here. In Georgia's 12th district, Republican Rick Allen upset Rep. John Barrow, one of the last of the conservative Southern Democrats who dominated the House for decades and are now going extinct before our eyes. And Gwen Graham — daughter of former Democratic senator and governor Bob Graham — beat Republican incumbent Steve Southerland in Florida's 2nd district.

Republican Senate gains were mainly in red states

Iowa and Colorado were the toughest Senate losses for Democrats to explain. Obama won both of those states, twice. The other five confirmed Republican gains are concentrated in red states. Thom Tillis picked up North Carolina's seat, which Kay Hagan won in 2008. Arkansas Democrat Mark Pryor was walloped due to the state's rightward tilt and a national Republican wave; the same thing happened to fellow Arkansan Democratic Sen. Blanche Lincoln in 2010. Meanwhile, popular Democrats retired in three states — South Dakota, Montana, and West Virginia — making all three guaranteed GOP gains.

Well you guys have control of congress and you're still pissed!
Actually I'm as happy as I can be, being pissed was when Obama became president, and half of America was racist over night. Remember those days Sarah?
The excuses keep flowing.
The GOP didnt really win
THe GOP won because of voter suppression
The GOP won because of low turnout
The GOP won because the Koch Bros stole the election
The GOP won and we're still angry racists
Obama is still president
The Congress is irrelevant
Governorships are irrelevant

The list goes on and on.
The truth is: The Democrats lost because people are sick and tired of putting up with their shit.

Claim victory and run and hope nobody noticed that your claim of Mexican shoot on sight policy just isn't true. Typical teabagger.
You keep saying we are teabaggers, we how did it feel to get teabagged last Tuesday? I'm sure you enjoyed it, you surely talk about it enough.

yep, teabagged the hell out them RIGHT out of Power and they ain't liking it much...
way to go ALL YOU, TEABAGGERS:happy-1:

So you do embrace the term.
No, actually the name was the tea party or tea party patriots. It was the democrats that came up with tea baggers, trying to demean us. The funny part is your party is so stupid that calling us the tea baggers, mean that our opponents are the ones that get tea bagged. Lol, and actually it shows that you really don't care about morality, because you know kids will eventually ask the question. What does it mean to be teabagged?

You mean like they did when the right wing was on the news every night for months talking about oral sex?
Was fox on the air back then? It was liberal president that lied under oath about a simple blow job that made it a world wide sensation. If Clinton would've just told the truth, it wouldn't been as big as it became. Also I remember liberals telling everyone including kids a blow job, isn't really sex. Which with kids a Lewinsky became popular. Thanks again for proving liberals don't have a moral bone in your bodies.

Oh yeah and also republicans were prosecuting clinton for lying under oath, it was the liberals who made a big deal about the cause of the impeachment, not republicans. Try again.

The one thing hacks like the OP cannot grasp is that it is not that material that the GOP trounced in the elections, rather it is massive rejection of the extreme left politics which have taken over the Democratic party.

For sure it wasn't because of Obozo. Just keep telling yourselves that if it helps. I'd say when the people takes the house away in 2010 and then the Senate four years later and Obama was elected in 2008. it DIFFENETLY is because of the Obama policies and the UGLY tyranny of his radical administration from the IRS, EPA, ETC.

How could you be bothered by this election when you were confused enough to vote for Obabble back in 08?
Yes, because Sarah Palin being a heartbeat away from the presidency was the clear choice when the country is on the brink of collapse.

Dumbass.
Don't be so hard on yourself, GERTRUDE...altho voting for a loser president to avoid what an opposition vp candidate might or might not do does put you in the running.

we need puddle boots for all the chit excuses of why they lost. As for the op he is in that small minority who still has it in (approves) for Obama so he is going to say what he needs to cover his lame ass as to why the people rejected him. for one they don't like being DUPED and LIED but some on the left doesn't seem to mind

The ironic part is he won't vote the present vp, to become president. Only in liberal looney land.

Yanno TK I have a Verizon phone. As I keep telling them, in ten-plus years with them I have yet to have a decent signal anywhere I've lived.
