Militiamen Moving On

how do these guys afford to stay out there? are they retired?

The California Militia (formed in 2000) has explained who their people are.
Our members represent every racial group, every major religion, and both sexes. Many of our members are college graduates, and a substantial number possess advanced degrees, while others lack a high school diploma. Most of our people are veterans and many have actual combat experience. From professionals to laborers, and teachers to law enforcement officers, we have come together because we have something in common, something that transcends race, or religion, or sex. We love America. We know where she’s been, and we fear where she’s heading. We are graybeards who remember the cops that walked a beat in our neighborhoods, and who knocked on the door when they wanted to talk to us. We are young blacks who tremble at the sight of a police car in their rear view mirror. We are lawyers who still choke up when we read the Constitution, and we are factory workers and house-wives who refuse to believe that sacred document, the Constitution, has become obsolete. We are ordinary people who have done an extraordinary thing. We have read the writing on the wall, and we have said no. We have read the writing and said “Hell no!” “Hell no, I’m not giving up my country,” and “Hell no, I’m not giving up America,” not to the socialists, and not to the United Nations, not without a fight!

Did you mean who is paying them?
If so, that I don't know. I don't think anyone was paying the majority of them.
Unless the Governors called them up, then they would be paid.
Some are Retired, some are able to take time off, some own their own business and can take time off, some may be unemployed, many at Bundy's Ranch were housewives there with their children. Some might have been local and just went there during the day or weekend and then went home.

Ah gee. I was hoping that about a thousand of them would stay out the summer there. Be real interesting to see what happens when the daily temps are in the triple digits and a thousands fruitloops armed to the teeth and more than half loopy start getting short tempered.

You are a bunch of fruitloops that run around with military weapons and look for a reason to kill your fellow Americans. You support a criminal in Utah, and are actively looking for other 'causes' for which you can do violence to your fellow citizens. I see you as no better than the gang bangers that shoot up each other for kicks.

Yeah, the the loons that support these guys would blame the evil government when one of the kooks dies in the desert from a heat stroke.

How DARE the public trespass on public lands?!
This is America. Don't they understand that the government owns pubic lands? They say so plainly.

I passed through Beaver, Utah the other day and some guy told me that a BLM official got roughed up by some guys who told the BLM official to stay off their property, but I can't find it anywhere in print.

anyhow, some blm lady on a power trip said on the Salt Lake channels yesterday they plan on filing charges against every single person that went on this trip.
Protest went on as planned. BLM dressed in plane clothes rather than uniforms, and not a single incident happened
I guess these people were out in the country having fun with their families rather than downloading porn like those that work for the government.

to bad your prophecy didn't come to pass. Ride went ahead....without incident.

Their behavior sort of reminds me of the hippies who followed the Grateful Dead.
