Minneapolis 'Umbrella Man' who sparked Floyd Riots fire is Hell's Angels member

I think what this OP does is point out what law enforcement has been saying - this violence is not all caused by one group. There are a lot of actors taking a hand in it.

The OP is placing an emphasis on this group, namely because he considers them to be far-right, and thus part of the conservative apparatus.

I'm not blind, you know.
Not blind you say? Cool...OP..being me...is saying that there is a strong possibility the violence was started deliberately and with malice..in an attempt to bring about the rioting..and further the creep's agenda.

He played you and your ilk..the Conservative Far-Right..who have spent countless hours stating that the rioting was all blacks...and that every protestor was a rioter-in-waiting.

I agree. I think there are multiple examples of outside groups (both left and right) seeking to turn protests into violence for their own purposes.

There are a lot of underlying factors - like dry tinder in a force, waiting for lighting or a stray spark from a cigarette. Covid-19, unemployment, economic crash and uncertainty, quarantine, failing leadership.

They are far-right. And in so far as Antifa is part of the "liberal apparatus"....as judged by the rightwing media....well....I would say the right owns these fleabags.

How do they own them? They no more own them than do the left owns Antifa.

It's stupid to broad-brush. Childish. Puerile.

"Evil flourishes when good men do nothing." And if one fails to condemn a group for bastardizing their ideals to fit an agenda, they are letting them steal their very essence.

Curious, you seem to think the 'right-wing media' is a dominant force in American politics. Are you ignoring the array of liberal media outlets that outnumber the right media by a wide margin?

Nope..this thread is to introduce the possibility that despite all your rhetoric about violent protestors....the riot was deliberately started by a white supremacist. Of course...it could be that Fox is engaging their tendency to put fake news out. What say you?
So how did this one so called Umbrella Man manage to attract so many blacks, bomb throwing Marxists
and assorted chaos loving Antifa white kids to this orgy of violence and fire in Minneapolis?

It's "amazing" and "improbable" that police have sifted through tens of hundreds of rioters and are conveniently placing all blame for the Minneapolis hell hole on this one biker as the genesis of it all.

Sounds like very politically convenient scapegoating to me (not that I'm defending the Hells Angels in
any way at all....). I am very wary of these anonymous unsubstantiated tips.

From the original article-
The Star Tribune could not independently verify the police account, which has so far only surfaced in the search warrant, and isn't naming the man because so far he has not been charged with a crime. The man, who has a criminal history that includes convictions of domestic violence and assault, did not respond to messages seeking comment. Spokespersons for the Minneapolis Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, which is also involved in the investigation, declined to comment.

I call bullshit.

This thread is nothing but a pathetic attempt to broad-brush the other side.

You, the reader, would be wise to ignore it.

the riot was deliberately started by a white supremacist

All it took for the ANTIFA and BLM thugs to start a riot and burn multiple buildings was for one white guy to break a window?

Talk about poor, uneducated and easy to command. LOL!
What makes you think he stopped with one window?

Feel free to post video of him doing more......

So a Hell's Angel and a know associate of a Aryan prison gang--is anyone really surprised?

A man captured on surveillance video smashing windows at a Minneapolis AutoZone in the wake of George Floyd’s death is a Hells Angels member bent on stirring up social unrest, police said.

Nicknamed “Umbrella Man” for his all-black getup that included a hood, gas mask and black umbrella, police said the man’s actions led to arson -- the first of several that sent peaceful protests into chaos.

Police identified the 32-year-old suspect through a tip last week. Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder told the Associated Press Tuesday he could not confirm the name of the person involved, but said the investigation remains open and active.
“This was the first fire that set off a string of fires and looting throughout the precinct and the rest of the city,” Minneapolis police arson investigator Erika Christensen wrote in a search warrant affidavit this week, according to the Star Tribune.
A video taken two days after Floyd’s death, on May 27, showed “Umbrella Man” breaking out the windows of an AutoZone store with a sledgehammer. Some protesters asked him to stop.

Before that, the man spray-painted an expletive-laced phrase on the front doors, police said. The AutoZone fire was the first that firefighters responded to during the civil unrest, Assistant Minneapolis Fire Chief Bryan Tyner said Tuesday.
In the affidavit, Christensen wrote that she watched “innumerable hours” of video on social media platforms trying to identify the suspect with no luck. Then, a tipster emailed the Minneapolis Police Department identifying him as a member of the Hells Angels biker gang who “wanted to sow discord and racial unrest by breaking out the windows and writing what he did on the double red doors,” according to the affidavit.
An investigation found that the man was also an associate of the Aryan Cowboy Brotherhood, a White supremacist prison and street gang based mainly in Minnesota and Kentucky. Several of its members were in Stillwater, in eastern Minnesota, late last month when a Muslim woman was confronted by a group of men wearing White supremacist garb.
He look to clean-cut to be a biker. His mannerism is as if he was a man of authority because of the way he wasn't surprised of the people capturing him in the act, as if he was above the law.
Most prison gang members are very careful of not letting themselves being exposed. He would of have dressed up for the occasion. But he stand out like a big dark mole on someone's face.

Thank you. I totally agree. I get frustrated with the broad brushing of the left. I do not support rioting.

I have heard anger from BLM protesters about the co-opting and violence, in fact I saw some videos where they were trying save businesses and police from violence.

I am not ignoring anything. But let me suggest a few things here.

There is no such thing as MSM in the way that the rightwing wants to claim. All media is equal - from the crappiest blog propaganda sites to well researched ethical sites. They are all equally accessable (but NOT equally accountable). The average person gets his news now from where? How many news sources are available at the click of a mouse? The only thing MSM means now...is "traditional".

As far as rightwing sources....how does the number of outlets compare to the overall proportions? Rupert Murdoch of News Corp and Fox, huge conglomerates. Fox is one of the Top Five media companies not all of which are "news".

We actually should be very worried about this but that is another topic.

As far as rightwing media being a dominant force in American politics? Yes. It absolutely is. Much more so than other media. Radio talk shows have propelled conservatism - a particular brand of conservatism from the time of Newt Gingrich. More so than the equivalent on the left...for whatever reason, the left doesn't follow media in the same way. Perhaps they get a bigger kick just out of listening to themselves opine.

Perhaps cops should just start using LIVE ammunition. These creeps burning down business and intimidating the populace over what? Police are not the problem here. The anti white racism IS. Anti white racism IS the systemic issue here NOW. Anti black racism was a tiny issue, but THIS anti white thing? This borders on mass hysteria! If there is really a racism crisis, its on those that blame and target WHITES.

I have heard anger from BLM protesters about the co-opting and violence, in fact I saw some videos where they were trying save businesses and police from violence.

So have I, and sadly, I can already tell they are in the minority. Those who genuinely want to advance a cause peacefully rather than violently. They are vastly outnumbered.

That is a well thought out response. But debating it would derail the thread. I am not running away, just trying to stick to relevant discussion.

Eh...I hope that made sense to you.

I'm not sure if they are outnumbered of if violence (as in mobs) is simply too contagious a human dynamic. I keep saying this but no one pays attention - there is more driving this then politics.

The Minneapolis police dept who had stood down during the looting? To me that it sound as if they had some of their friends in the crowd that they didn't want them to get hurt.

Nope..this thread is to introduce the possibility that despite all your rhetoric about violent protestors....the riot was deliberately started by a white supremacist. Of course...it could be that Fox is engaging their tendency to put fake news out. What say you?

That's fine with me. Take the rioters... and shoot them.

I don't give a crap where they are from. I do not think that one side, or the other side, engaging in violence, somehow justifies the other.

You act like that story is supposed to mean something. It means nothing to me. I don't care who is doing it. SHOOT THEM.

End the chaos. End the rioting. End the looting. End the violence. Kill the criminals.

To be fair, he didn't just break a few windows at AutoZone, he also spray painted "free shit for everyone zone" on the doors.

If I saw someone breaking windows, ID CALL THE POLICE, NOT RIOT.

Are you saying blacks are this easily led to violence?
