What I pointed out was that the reason that New York can get away with disarming it's citizens in the face of violent criminals is that they use police state tactics to disarm gang members.......

Now that they have stopped stop and frisk, add that to the fact that law abiding New Yorkers are still disarmed...and you are going to see more dead New Yorkers.....

As the article points out it has been a year since Mississippi relaxed it's open carry laws....the anti gunners said this would lead to blood in the streets.....and.......nothing has happened......no blood, and the world kept turning....peacefully.....

What amuses me about this OP is how desperate gun nuts are to post anything.......ANYTHING that might support their gun fantasies

I this case Mississippi passed a law clarifying their concealed carry law. It simply says that a holster does not constitute concealed carry because it covers part of the gun........pretty innocent

Yet we have gun nuts like 2aguy screaming that this is a triumph for concealed carry and that it didn't raise the murder rate

The same Mississippi murder rate that is three times as high as Massachusetts which has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation

You can't make this stuff up

It shows that the anti gun nuts are just that...nuts......law abiding citizens, carrying guns more than ever are not creating more violence....in fact...with more people owning and carrying guns...over 11.1 million people now carry guns for self defense, the gun crime rate is going down, not up....and the gun accident rate is going down, not up..........

And it didn't raise the murder rate.....which is what the anti gun nuts always say before law abiding citizens get to carry guns for protection....dittos Wisconsin, Illinois, and every other state that just enacted concealed carry laws..........

And Mass. is not the same state as Mississippi.....with the same issues.......

The article was on Mississippi clarifying that carrying a gun in a holster is not concealed carry. You trumpeting this as a victory for gun rights is pretty lame
