Yet we have gun nuts like 2aguy screaming that this is a triumph for concealed carry and that it didn't raise the murder rate
The same Mississippi murder rate that is three times as high as Massachusetts which has some of the toughest gun laws in the nation
You can't make this stuff up
It shows that the anti gun nuts are just that...nuts......law abiding citizens, carrying guns more than ever are not creating more violence....in fact...with more people owning and carrying guns...over 11.1 million people now carry guns for self defense, the gun crime rate is going down, not up....and the gun accident rate is going down, not up..........
And it didn't raise the murder rate.....which is what the anti gun nuts always say before law abiding citizens get to carry guns for protection....dittos Wisconsin, Illinois, and every other state that just enacted concealed carry laws..........

(CNN)Authorities in the Houston area are urging residents to do more to keep guns out of the hands of children in the wake of three child shootings there in four days.
On Friday, a 3-year-old boy died. Preliminary information shows he shot himself with a gun he found at a home, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
On Sunday, another child, 4, "died under similar circumstances," the office said. CNN affiliate KPRC reported the boy found the gun underneath a bed. Both cases are under investigation.
The third shooting took place early Monday when 5-year-old boy shot his 6-year-old brother, KPRC said. The child was rushed to a hospital and is believed to be in critical condition.

We live in a country of over 320 million people, with over 320 million guns in private hands with over 11.1 million people carrying guns for self defense.....and we only have under 100 children on average a year dying from accidental gun deaths........each one a tragedy....but in a country of over 320 million....the number is tiny and not relevant to the gun debate....
Now swimming pools, more children die in those, yet you don't care......it shows that it isn't that they are dying, but only that it was a gun that did it....your insane fear of guns has made you irrational.........
