Mom told to leave because she was breastfeeding

If this is true, and there are some reasons to believe its not, she needs to be educated and/or hauled off to the loony bin.

And her son will likely need therapy for the rest of her life.

To the OP, no, its not normal, natural and no she does not have the right to nurse a 12yo boy in public.
or just have an attraction to women's boobs when he is an adult? ;)

More than likely an attraction to his MOMS boobs, which is about a creepy as you can get.

truly, I don't believe the story...

this woman that called in to the radio show is pulling the wool over your eyes and just wanted to see how viral this story of hers would go....

Check my first post, I still think this is a fabrication, but if its not its about the creepiest thing I have heard in a while.

“No, honey. Don’t be scared,” I told him, squeezing his ears between my boobs so he couldn’t hear them.

“I am a mother and I have every right to feed my child in public. If you have a problem with that, you can avert your eyes, but my son is feeding and will continue to feed until we are both satisfied.”

I stood up for myself, and I felt good, but this story doesn’t end like one of those feel good stories you hear on the local news. None of the patrons came to my defense, and they actually cheered as security escorted me and my son out of the theater.

This is just another day for me. This is what it’s like to be a mother that breastfeeds. This is what it’s like to live in world that hates women’s bodies.

But, this isn’t about me. It’s about my son. His name is Mason. He’s twelve years old, and now that he stands at eye level with me, he has to bend over a bit when I breastfeed him in public. Sure, it’s a little jarring when people see what appears to be a grown man sucking on a woman’s breasts, but it’s natural and their discomfort is not my problem.

The fact of the matter is, if it weren’t natural, I wouldn’t still produce milk, and it wouldn’t feel good to breast feed my son. Because of the sexual repression of women, there’s little information on the sexual nerve receptors in the nipple and the rest of the titty, but when a baby sucks on a woman’s breast she experiences a bit of sexual pleasure. When a man does it, she receives even more pleasure because the breast is sensitive to facial hair, and now that my son Mason is old enough to grow facial hair, our breastfeeding sessions have become even more pleasurable for me.

It's normal, natural and she has a right to breastfeed in public

Um...no.

I breastfed all three of my babies. First round, I made sure when we were out in public to either, one, take my already pumped breast-milk, or two, wear the right bra and top and take a blanket to cover us so we could be discreet, if there wasn't a 'station' available in the ladies room...I also made sure we were tabled in a corner part of any restaurant we went to as well.

The same with the other two when they came along.

Now, a 12 year old still nursing is just plain mental. First of all, that is when most human beings begin puberty...I mean, really, there is something very wrong with that woman to allow that at his age...and in public to boot? Sounds like the woman was trying to get a reaction, to me...which again, is a mental issue.

Edit - I should also add that I weaned my oldest at 11 months, my middle at 9 months, and my youngest at 6 months.

If you'd let me, I'd breast feed in public. LOL

This might be her son.....12 years of sucking tit buck teef:

Not if she's at my place if business.

A) this story appears to be a hoax.
B) It's fine with me for a woman to breast feed her BABY...as long as she is discreet about it.

I would prefer a breast feeding mother to retire to a non public area of the restaurant to feed. But, that's neither here nor there.

We have a very strict child policy at our restaurant.

Our average ticket is right around $200. People don't pay that kind of money for JUST the food, If you have babies crying and nursing and children running around like wild animals. You may as well be at McDonalds.

Our hostesses make it clear. We have an appropriate room for dealing with babies, and unruly children will be asked to leave.

To my knowledge we've never had to eject anyone.

She claims she will continue. Well, she will continue to get kicked out of places. Eventually, someone is going to call the police and she will be arrested
Child services will step in and there could be a custody issue.
This woman is certifiable.
Lastly. Contemporary community standards will win out here.
No one wants a person who thinks they can thumb their nose or flip the bird at the entire community and get away with it.
I hate these "prove a point people"...

To me, the boy may need more help than the mom because he is the one who has gone along with his mom all this time and for all we know he may like sucking on his mother's boobs.

God bless you always!!!

There is a growing movement among restaurant owners to either have kid free sections. Kid free nights or Kid free altogether.
The owners are not anti kid. Its the parents that fail to control their kids. Or that have cranky infants that they KNOW will act up at the worst time.
The parents. Those who refuse to accept the fact that becoming a parent comes with a certain amount of sacrifice. One of which is having to give up certain things they did as childless couples. It is what it is.

Well, we're a private club, and our prices are pretty high, so most of that takes care of itself anyway. But yes there are restaurants doing such things, and of course the liberal morons complain.
