When you look at the big picture, aside from the moonbat messiah's marginal victory over a republicrat nobody really liked, the bed wetters are getting their asses kicked in almost every significant election. I think 2014 will be a good reflection of 2010, and that if we can keep up the momentum and get a decent nominee we'll have the democrooks crushed in 2016.

When several Republicans got recalled in Wisconsin in 2011 and 2012, the 'nuts called it a defeat for the Democrats.

Why can't we call this a defeat?

Because there the goal was to actually take back the wisconsin senate, and thus repeal the law. That failed. Then they tried it with walker, and failed again.

Here the only puprose was to send a message, and its a message that resonates with both republicans and the large number of 2nd amendment supporting democrats. There was no realistic chance of overturning the law, but come next time it comes up to vote, I have a feeling some of the blue dogs will be far more blue.

History was made tonight in Colorado as Democrat Senate Majority Leader John Morse was recalled for abridging Coloradans’s Second Amendment civil liberties. The tally is currently 52%-48%. According to Kelly Maher of Revealing Politics, Morse supporters need to “beat us two to one in remaining ballots.” Impossible.

It’s the first wave of legislative battles planned by citizens angry at state lawmakers who denied them a vote on their Second Amendment rights. As it stands now State Senator Angela Giron is narrowly ahead of her recall.

Morse conceded around 11:30 eastern time. Republican Bernie Herpin was elected to replace him.
