So you're celebrating Americans having to pay higher prices for goods right before school starts, when they will be strapped for cash after summer vacation.

Do you want a raised minimum wage? Of course you do, because you are a Dem kook. Raising minimum wage raises the price of the goods or services provided by those workers. Yet you don’t complain about higher prices then.

Manufacturing jobs are great middle class career jobs. If you want people to have good jobs then you would favor bringing those jobs back here. The only way to do that is with tariffs. Make the price of manufacturing in third world communist shit holes more than if made here. The point of tariffs isn’t to make people pay the tax, it’s to move the jobs here.

Shipping those jobs to China leaves what kind of jobs for our young people? Some shit service job like being a waiter? Then artificially raise their wage my minimum wage hikes, which makes the customers pay more for low skill services? It’s not going to work, it never has. This is why leftwing morons like you should never be put in charge of an economy.

Ultimately, since China has no innovative advantage, jobs will come back to avoid paying the tariffs and other nations will understand they also need better terms with China, who are stealing their IP and jobs.

US imports from China are down 8 percent.
Chinese imports from the US are down 30 percent.

That is called losing. Unless you think the exporter pays tariffs…..which in that case you’re an ignorant loser.

If it was $100B out of USA into China, 30% is $30B
If it was $500B into USA from China, 8% is $40B.

These numbers are not unreasonable.
USA would be winning the above scenaio.
