Being a capitalist has nothing to do with globalism unless you direct your efforts in that direction.
The Wife and I made all our monies in the confines of the U.S.
Being critical of capitalist excess doesn't mean we're advocating communism either. Big tech, media corporations are ruining this country and should be held to account for it.
I'm a capitalist through and through.
What needs to be addressed is the trade deficit which Trump is doing.
We need to make it profitable for companies to bring back manufacturing jobs.
I'm not saying there is no such thing as detrimental capitalism by any means, there are people out there that dont give a shit about the US as long as they're making money.
A lot of those manufacturing jobs arent ever coming back. Automation will do a much more efficient job than any human worker ever could and won't need to be paid. Soon, driverless trucks and AI will kill off a whole bunch of other jobs too. Even McDonalds will replace their human workers with robots. What then?
People better educate themselves like I did in 1985....and again in 2000 when CNC's became so prevalent......in other words?
Learn to Code.
They did. Then they were replaced by AI and HB1 visa holders.
As I've said.
You can be a capitalist and still support America. The shit disney world pulled is the best example of importing workers.
Why,because they brought in the the lowest type of workers which really hurts the low income Americans.
