Musician cut from MLK concert for not having the Politically correct views

Why would anyone want a bigot performing at a MLK memorial concert?

Makes no sense.

He should perform for Billy Graham. Another bigot.

Funny how your liberal hero, John Conyers, attanded a farrakahn rally and was seen cheering him, and you have ZERO issue with that.
That was allegedly over "civil rights" too.

Curious, what do you think MLK's views on gays were?

Wow, it sure gets ugly when minorities don't tow the line.

Don't that boy know where he came from and who butters his bread?

Attanded? How do you do that?

And I was alive at the time. Gays weren't well thought of, and it was considered a disease. Seems that society has evolved since then.

When I was a kid, I couldn't stand queers, I barely tolerate them now.

But what they do in their private lives is private. Ain't my business.

What the hell did he get cut for?

I couldn't open the link, but I picked this up .

Wait a minute is this over views on homosexuality?

The man is a minister.

YIKES! And despite progressives never mentioning it, MLK was a Reverend before they started calling him Doctor Martin Luther King.

lol--my aunt felt the same--then 2 guys moved in across the street--she is elderly and loves to talk about her town and hates her neighbor's cats--they bonded and they are now her 'grandsons'. She will say 'anything'---they just lol.

So let me get this right.

If one now doesn't believe in the views and the actions of the members of the Church of the Holy Fudge Packers because of one's own faith, and you are punished because you don't, you're the bigot.

Got it.

Yep.

Far from it.

Intolerant of what?

It's generally not a good idea to have bigots perform at an event when you are trying to promote tolerance.

Sort of a conflict of interest. Something you wouldn't get.

some of these other events sound interesting--just talking to myself

March on Washington's 50th anniversary concert at MLK, Jr. Memorial Aug. 10 - Washington DC Art Travel | Examiner.com

~~~
in an Atlanta forum--with lots of gays and African Americans--this topic would come up from time to time--'being on the downlow'---some mega church leader in Atlanta texted pictures of himself---anyway --the discussions were hilarious--still loling to myself ---the forum moderator had to close the thread for review at least once a day---
good times
You and those like you are the haters and the bigots if you cannot wrap your brain around the simple truth that the man's faith tells him "hate the sin, love the sinner".
It would be the same with Reverend Martin Luther King. Or any man of the cloth.
You are the hater. You are the bigot for not being able to understand the man's faith.
This is part of the natural process of division. Each side is to be of one thought, one action, one opinion.
