Meaning the muslim have entered our country under a covenant of peace.

And are not to violate that covenant...........

Why then do their leaders declare them to be above the law. Doesn't the Koran also tell muslims that infidel law doesn't really count?

Any believer holds those beliefs to be superior to civil authority. When those beliefs demand others believe the same way, there is irredeemable conflict. When negotiation is impossible and one party imposes upon the other, there is little recourse other than surrender or violence.

Today, in Europe or North America, Islam is a tiny minority. That minority cannot prevail over the present cultures in which they reside. Hearing that a 'religious leader' says his God is more important than man's laws is not new or surprising. What would surprise us would be all real religious leaders condemning the errors of their respective practitioners, Moslem or other.

The intent of what the speaker was saying, and what was reported, are two different things.

Ask any Christian and they will tell you that they follow God's laws which are above man's laws.

We muslims believe the same way.

The speaker wasn't saying to break or disobey any US. laws.

He was just saying that muslims obey a higher law.

But the person sited in the OP wanted to twist the words, and put muslims in a bad light, in order to further their Islamophobic agenda...........

That's islamization guys. Muslims never obeyed the laws at the place of their residency, just fact and you have to deal with it. I think such declaration is a part of their plan to make America a land of sharia. These days they declared they won't obey local laws, and tomorrow they will declare jihad against Americans who reject to accept Islam. Some will say it's impossible, but if not why they openly say they won't obey the laws? I think it's a very dangerous case that shouldn't stay unnoticed. But somehow I think Obama's decision to give $250 million to Egyptian Islamists (capitalisminstitue . org/muslim-brotherhood-250million) will encourage Muslims in America to carry the ball, because all of them are extremist monsters by nature who sucking too much money from countries where they live and use it to fight the infidels. And here Obama himself expressed his support to Islamists even though they from Egypt. Just look what Britain looks like now, it's scary to walk down the streets because they are flooded by Islamist radicals that propagandize Islam and violence against innocent people. Absolutely crazy and I hope America will deal with these brutal animals whose power grows with every day because people and authorities inactive.
